Conundrum Farm situated up towards Berwick is an excellent choice for a fun day out and is ideal for those with younger children. Within the farm visitors can enjoy the trail and take along some food to feed the animal they meet. The friendly goats and affectionate ponies always prove popular as do the cute and cuddly lambs in the spring time. The site also has a coffee shop and a farm shop selling excellent local produce.

Go Ape is the perfect place for a day out if you have older kids or teenagers. This amazing attraction feature a thrilling highwire course with 30ft up a rope ladders, a giant rope net, Tarzan Swing and a maze of tunnels and rope bridges to negotiate. The attraction has proved very popular since opening and is a must if you are in the area.

Alnwick Castle and Gardens today are perhaps best known for their roles as Hogwarts in Harry Potter movies but have for many years been a family favourite attraction in Northumberland. The beautiful medieval castle is open to the public and during school holidays and at Christmas and Halloween a range of activities can be enjoyed including Santa's Workshop, a Pumpkin Parade, Spell Making Lessons and Owl and Bird of Prey Flying.

i loved sandy bay it was amazing! we loved going to the morning and the children's disco on a night was funny! There is lots of things to do out side the park and some to do in the park! The staff were really nice and good with children!

WE HAVE USED A CARAVAN AT WOOLER TWICE PER YEAR FOR THE LAST 6 YEARS FOR GOLFING HOLIDAYS IN THE AREA.LAST YEAR WE ALSO USED IT FOR A SUMMER FAMILY HOLIDAY AND FOUND IT QUIET,CONVENIENT AND IDEAL FOR A BREAK WHERE THE AGE RANGE WAS 8 TO 68.THE BEACHES AROUND BAMBURGH ARE AS GOOD AS ANYTHING IN THE SOUTH AND THE AVALABILITY OF OF GOOD FOOD IN THE AREA IS FAR BETTER.GO INTO A PUB AND YOU ARE TALKING TO THE LOCALS WITHIN MINUTES.WHAT MORE COULD YOU WANT
