Fantastic lodge with plenty of room. Friendly owners nothing too much trouble. When exploring the site we found there to be excellent facilities for caravans, motor homes and camping. Little extras provided that make all the difference. Beautiful views and fantastic scenery the best we have had in a long time. Birds a plenty and amazing to watch. More than enough storage space and even monopoly and cards provided. Easy to use white goods and all utensils provided. I really hope we get to return as this is the best self catering we have experienced!!

The very long journey from the far west of Cornwall was really worth it. We loved our pine lodge and it surroundings. The lodge was very well equipped and we felt very cosy and comfortable. Made very welcome by Carol and her husband, sorry we didn't see them before we left, but thanks to them both.
We would love to come back to Gairlochy Lodge again and would be very happy to make a positive recommendation to others.

Phillip, Kent
Lodges have clearly been around for a few years but have been well maintained and are very comfortable.
Debra, Cwmbran
Beautiful, peaceful location.Central to many attractions. Very well equipped and comfortable for a self catering holiday.Beautiful views of Ben Nevis on a clear day.Only negative was that the stairs were quite steep. With no upstairs toilet, the decent was quite precarious at night.
Amy, Portsmouth
We thoroughly enjoyed our one-week stay in the lodge at Gairlochy Park. We did this after a week of travelling the NC500 so the lodge was intended as chill-out time (we did manage a Ben Nevis climb on the clearest day though!) We are just a couple but the lodge was a really good size and enough for a small family too we thought. The lodge was really clean and had all facilities needed. Washing machine was a nice surprise. There was heating but our stay was at the beginning of September so not needed. The reception staff were more than helpful with any queries we had regarding the local area etc. Views from the balcony were amazing and the grounds are kept really well too. Highly recommended.
Christopher
Brilliant & cosy cottage far enough out the way to be secluded but close enough to local amenities. Amazing hotub & bathroom with underfloor heating throughout tops it off. The owners, Rob & Sharon are wonderful! (And of course Bonnie) Will definitely be coming back again for longer ASAP!!
Emma
Beautiful cottage with hot tub and log burner. lovely hosts, peaceful, perfect for our mini break. Hope to return for longer soon!
Phoebe
Really well equipped house, lovely and warm too which was so nice on a rainy December day! Bath was just lovely and a nice big shower! The property is under a flight path - this did not disturb us at all! Dont be put off! A great location for dogs who hate fireworks as it's in the middle of nowhere. It was everything we wanted for our weekend away and we loved staying here. We'll definitely be back! Our pups absolutely loved the underfloor heating and had so much fun in the garden. In fact Luna came home with a strained tail and according to the vet it was because she was wagging it so much over the weekend!! Very happy pups and hoomans!
Simon
Lovely cottage. Great location for us. Away from the hustle and bustle. Great hot tub . Lovely helpful non intrusive owners. They have it just right!
Brooke
Absolutely loved how well maintained and equipped this cottage is. Plenty of dog walks right on the doorstep. Very friendly host, they were so efficient and communication was excellent. We had a wonderful time in Goddard Mead. The cottage was very complete and there were walks on the doorstep. The welcome and stay was very warm. The owners are lovely people.
Carol
The owners Rob & Sharon, have gone to a great deal of work to sympathetically convert this historic building & we couldn't have had a warmer greeting from them both & of course Bonnie. Such a lovely place to stay in a really beautiful, private location. The owners were really friendly and helpful, nearby if needed but without breaking that sense of privacy. The lovely cottage is situated on a working farm, but is very private. The owners, Robert and Sharon, are delightful. The cottage is very spacious with good equipment in the kitchen and the bathroom. The bed is really comfortable. The garden is secluded; dog proof and with good furniture. There are numerous walks around. Thaxted has good restaurantRead mores. We liked The Star and The Maypole. Lovely log cabin in a beautiful location, amazing views, perfect for exploring the Highlands, it was everything we needed.
Hugh
Very nice location just 1 mile from the canal. The chalet was very private with no one over looking you and comfortable with everything you need.

Lovely little park. Mainly static caravans and tourers but with the 3 additional lodges. Owners were very helpful and had knowledgeable of activities in the area. Washing machine in lodge was invaluable. Free wi fi was also a welcome bonus. Would very much recommend for the price we paid.
Liza
We had an amazing holiday. The accommodation was very comfortable and cosy and we'll equipped. The views towards the Nevis range are wonderful. The lodges are surrounded by hedges so very private and quiet. The park is a good location to access the Great Glen with Fort William in one direction and Loch Ness in the other. The park itself is very small but does not have a safe and usable play area as advertised which was disappointing for my children. Although we stayed in August the weather was very unpredictable but that didn't stop us from cycling and walking in the Great Glen. The washing machine was a bonus too.
Norma
Excellent holiday weather fantastic
Sara
