Pound Farm has a fantastic location within beautifully landscaped grounds in one of the Lake District's most beautiful areas. The lodges offer a perfect base for a relaxing away-from-it-all family holiday, yet the area also has plenty of outdoor pursuits for those seeking action and adventure. Walking, cycling, fishing and golf can all be found locally.
Lake Windermere can be reached in just a few minutes by car and offers cruises boat hire and sailing. The World of Beatrix Potter is close by and is an excellent choice for a family day trip. The Lake District National Park is also within reach.
Pound Farm offers stylish and modern accommodation with a selection of lodges and apartments to choose from. All have excellent self catering facilities and some furnished outside space from which to enjoy the beautiful views. Smaller families may opt for the Pound Farm Lodge 2 or the Hayloft Apertment which both sleep 4. For large groups the Pound Farm Farmhouse is ideal and offers spacious and luxurious accommodation for up to 10 people. The 4 bedroom house has recently been refurbished and has a lovely private garden.

Both children and adults will enjoy a day out here where you can see over 100 species of animals including Zebras and Antelope. At set times you can go an see Birds of Prey flying displays as well as Zoo Keeper Presentations which are educational as well as fun. If the weather is not on your side then you can make the most of the indoor heated play area and modern cafe. Located at Coalbeck Farm in Cumbria we think this is a must for families. |
