There are two well-stocked fishing lakes on site offering enjoyable fishing for both experts and beginners. There is also an indoor pool and a heated outdoor pool which is a great place to cool off in the summer months. The park also has a wonderful Lakeside restaurant which serves excellent local food and is the ideal place for a relaxing meal before heading over to Midnight bar to enjoy the live entertainment.

The accommodation is of a very high standard and well appointed within the beautiful lawned grounds a range of caravans, cottages and lodges are available. The Rookley standard plus caravan provides good value accommodation for four people. Larger groups could opt for the Rookley Luxury or premier 3 which are more spacious and sleep up to eight people. All of the Bungalows sleep up to six people and Rookely Park Cottage 3 is a spacious terraces cottage with three bedrooms and sleeping space for two in the lounge. All of the accommodation is well equipped for self catering.

Everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Concerns I had read about cleanliness in previous reviews proved to be unfounded for us.
I would suggest you bring flip flops in order to walk to the hot-tub, which is accessed at the back of the cottage via slabs - of which there are too few to make the walk relaxing.
The only thing that didn't work was the dryer on the washer/dryer, but that was only a mild annoyance.

I go fishing at the lakes at Rookley Park, so the caravan is a base to for the evenings only, my only is trying to watch a 19" tv, not on in this day and age of the big flat screens, could do with upgrading.

Our static caravan Solent 3 was clean and comfortable, everything was in perfect working order and the kitchen was large enough for the 3 of us adults to move around in at the same time, a spacious lounge and bedrooms with a great shower and central heating made it a joy to be in and only a 3 minute walk to the clubhouse and we look forward to going again.

General maintenance and cleaning was at a very poor standard

I booked this as a cheap get away, and when we got to our accommodation I was pleasantly supprised. It was a lot better than I had expected it to be for the price we paid.

We liked the cottage for its space, cleanliness and quality. Good solid furniture, equipped kitchen and ability to park outside the cottage.

We would have liked a bathmat, spare loo rolls and kitchen towels. The bath has only a half-shower curtain so water gets everywhere. I believe we can hire towels on site...but we would expect a mat at least to be included. We bought one from Newport Sainsbury anyway. It would also be useful to be able to borrow fans as some days and nights were very humid and warm.

We paid for a pet free caravan and under closer inspection the previous guests had used one of the beds for a dog bed there were dog hairs all in the bed so the cleaners had not replaced the sheets. Also we opened the oven and the baking tray was fithy and had food and grease in it. Everythink else about the van was good. Apart from the location right by campers toilets.
