If you are looking for a holiday park break in the North East of England then the Yorkshire Moors and the Yorkshire coast could provide a stunning setting for your holiday. Captain Cook's Haven in the seaside town of Whitby is a popular choice with a charming riverside location and an indoor pool. For a more lively park then Sandy Bay holiday park has much to offer families with kids clubs and evening entertainment. If you want to get away from it all then Orchard Farm holiday cottages in Filey are recommended with a rural setting and well equipped accommodation. Whichever type of holiday you are looking for there is bound to be the perfect Yorkshire park to suit you.

Park: Skipsea Sands
Date of stay: October 2010
I booked a sun holiday at skipsea sands for the begining of october, and the site is a little gem, my kids enjoyed free swimming with the passes and was there every day, the staff in the shop, reception and bar was excellent and very frendly.
On the site there is amusments.shop, laundrette, reception, bar, swimming pool with gym and ten pin bowling and there is a bus service outside of the site. i upgraded my caravan from bronze to silver and it was well worth it,i had a balcony with seating outside and an extra bedroom ny holiday was well worth the money and i will be going on my second sun holiday at skipsea sands next year 2011, only downside to the site is you cannot get onto the beach due to coastal orrosion but if you go to bridlington or hornsea then you will be able to get on the beach.
