Polperro is the Cornish fishing village people picture before they’ve ever been: a tight little harbour, whitewashed cottages stacked up both sides of the valley, lobster pots on the quay and lanes so narrow that visitors can’t drive in at all. It sits 4 miles west of Looe on the south coast of Cornwall. The South West Coast Path runs straight through it.

There’s no caravan park in the village itself. Instead, a ring of Polperro holiday parks sits on the hills just outside, several of them a few minutes’ drive from the Crumplehorn car park, with sea views and the coast path close by.

Below, we compare the holiday accommodation listed above and say which park suits which break, with Looe just along the coast as a bonus. If you’d rather be based there, see our guide to holiday parks near Looe.
