An excellent location, so close to the beach and local restaurants. Very dog friendly and we loved the doggy gift! The caravan was really clean and so well equipped. We had a perfect and relaxing weekend. The heated pool was also lovely.

Caravan was nice and clean, not worn or tired. The park is well kept and laid out nicely. This site is more suitable for caravan owners, not for a holiday. But if you are looking for a base on Mersea that is quiet and comfortable this site is ideal

Lovely caravan! Slept 7 comfortably (could not fit 2 adults on the sofa bed if needed). All doors need to be WD40'd as we're so squeaky they woke up the children everytime a door was opened, This was really irritating even in the day. Shower was lovely and giving 2 toilets a real bonus! Would book again.

Only marked down on cleanliness as a 5 year old found 5p on the floor of a bedroom within 2 mins of arriving and a toy car was in the cupboard. Considering deep clean was stated and door sealed due to covid and check in/ check out meant we had to arrive an hour later(5pm instead if 4).. and leave by 9am not usual 10 it did make us question the "deep clean".

Nice spacious caravan. Handy to have the en suite toilet with 4 adults and 2 children staying. Also liked the fact that the gate on the decking had a lock, so our 2 year old granddaughter was safe. Would have liked a teapot!

Date of stay: 8th July 2018
Overall we enjoyed our time there , our caravan had not been cleaned properly on arrival.
I did report it to reception , toiletries left in cupboard from previous guest & cat litter left under the sink! The microwave didn't work either but we dint need it so didn't report that.

We were in Poplars number 41 -
I had requested we as a family group with two other families be together & was told we would be in the same row & we were but would have been nice to all be next to each other?

Rachel
Fantastic stay and back again this weekend! Great for kids dogs and adults x
Sarah
Beautiful, meticulously clean caravans. Really spacious too (we had 2 x 3 bed caravans). The site is really quiet, right on the seafront, and all other caravan users were really friendly. Great seafood stall on site - delicious! Highly recommend.
Lucy
We had a great holiday here, it was the perfect sized park. The facilities were easy to access and it was great to be by the beach and have access to a pool. There’s a great kids park near by. The staff were lovely and the caravan just right. Thank you so much.
Kelly
Lovely holiday park, not too big. Pool and private beach access as well as play park on site. Small clubhouse and shop also, would have been nice to have a choice of takeaway available but the town is only a short drive away. Overall a nice place for a short break.
Adela
Really happy with my jubilee weekend. The caravan was lovely and clean. The area was nice but the weather wasn't great. A nice kiddie play area was available but it would have been great to have one onsite. Luckily our kids were able to swim otherwise no swimming slots available for an adult. Overall a happy customer.
Katrina
Didn't need much help as everything ran quite smoothly once we arrived. But they nicely allowed us to leave our bags in the garage until our cab came. Which was really nice of them. Would definitely come back and would definitely bring friends back with me. Thanks for a lovely break away.
Lesley
Very peaceful get for dogs loved my weekend will definitely be going back
