The lodge is in a lovely spot, with great views. Beautiful log burner.Unable to use the hot tub for 25% of our stay due to it not being warm enough and the lodges need a deep clean, they are dirty.

We are returning customers for this lodge (3rd time), so fond of this site. However, since our last visit, this accommodation has become tired and no longer a luxury lodge. Also, we would like to make a few suggestions -* update the wifi information in the welcome book.* make it possible to provide logs before arriving (not having to wait until the second night of a weekend break).* it was wet and icy when we arrived - a handrail would be helpful on the steps to the front door.

Some areas showing small signs of wear, eg the hot tub, but this is expected as it isn't brand new.

Relaxing holiday in a comfortable well furnished lodge. Would have been nice to have some sun loungers! Good location for sightseeing and away from the crowds. Would book again.

Date of stay: 8th January 2018
We booked to stay here last minute,in January, and have already booked to go again,
If you want a nice modern comfortable lodge, with Hot tub, heating, wood burner, peace and quiet and unspoilt views of the Devonshire countryside, them this is it,5 mins drive to Dawlish Warren. If your looking for a noisey kids club, exspensive bar and bingo, this isn't for you.

All home comforts tv very small but loads of channels , hot tub very good outside furniture & decking . We thought it was a bit over priced have had newer better lodges in and around the same areas for a lot les money.

The lodge was lovely and clean, as were the towels and bedding, and it was very well equipped. It's a clever layout making use of every bit of space.
Lana, Bridgend

Absolutely stunning place, so relaxing and in a beautiful part of the UK, would definitely recommend.
Geoffrey
A lovely quiet holiday lodge. Near to Dartmoor and South Devon.
Carole
Fantastic lodge set in such beautiful surroundings, close to beach and surrounding area such as torquay, Paignton and Exeter, 2nd time here and love it
Dean
We went from Monday to Friday and was the best hot tub lodge we have stayed in Would definitely recommend and would stay again Lovely location, private hot tub and nice spacious lodge Plenty to do around the area and shops only down the road Happy with our little holiday
Tomasz
It was a pleasant stay. Very comfy/warm accommodation surrounded by nature. U will probably need car yo get around. My only suggestion is that the website is not that clear so be aware when booking(some accommodation doesn't have fire place/hot tube).
Donna
Was really lovely peaceful clean and the owners were extremely helpful and friendly wish we could have stayed longer
Paul
A great lodge to stay in, with great places to visit locally
Calvin
It was my brother and his wife's first holiday since they have been together in over 24 years and they were a bit nervous but when we got there there were a couple of little things in the lodge which we were in which was rectified and sorted out imidiately the only issue was the signs for the lodge was a little to small which caused us to pass the entrance to the lodge a number of times the hot tub was excellent and the staff checked the hot tub a number of times during the day we are already in the process of arranging another visit to Oakwood lodge in portmile and when we requested logs for the log burner, we had them within 10 mins.
Emma
Lovely, well-equipped, peaceful lodge to relax and unwind in. Our family all enjoyed sitting in the hot tub, looking at the lovely view. Feel re-charged.
Jim
once you find the small sign on the gatepost ,you are welcomed to a small tidy site, the lodges are clean and smart .the hot tubs are great and the daily checks are very welcome. the lodges are well equipped but a starter log basket is not supplied...not a problem just give the team a call and the basket arrives like magic. there are no amenities on site but you are within walking distance to a Spar shop if you turn left out the gate or there is Sainsburys 5 mins drive away if you turn right. the location of the site was perfect for peace and quiet with Dawlish just a short drive away with all the takeaways you'll need. even Exeter or Torquay is only a short drive.
