Lively Newquay is loved by surfers, couples and families alike! It has 11 sandy beaches and is surrounded by gorgeous Cornish villages that are well worth exploring. Piran Meadows Resort and Spa is a great base from which to travel around South Cornwall; it offers comfortable accommodation and has a lively entertainment programme for people of all ages. This part of the country has a fabulously mild climate and Summer Lodge is one of Cornwall’s most popular resorts.
The park has a large outdoor heated swimming pool suitable for all ages, and a clubhouse and bar with excellent family entertainment. There is a children’s play area and amusements as well as a handy grocery shop and launderette.
We particularly recommend the Eden Star, a superior 12 foot, three bedroomed caravan that also has additional sleeping for two people in the lounge area. It is double glazed and centrally heated with a good sized kitchen and a TV with Freeview. After a hard day’s surfing, swimming and exploring, you could pop to the fish and chip shop on the park and bring home a takeaway for a comfortable night in!
The beaches in Cornwall are legendary, whether you want a secluded cove or you’re looking to ride the waves. Castle Beach in Falmouth is south facing and perfect for a family picnic; Polzeath is a great surfing beach but also offers a gentle walk along the coastal path.
