Myself and my wife had a quiet and relaxing holiday. We have always loved the area around brixam and Torquay and Riviera bay has always been the ideal place to stay the accommodation was clean and comfortable with a great view overlooking the sea the staff were welcoming helpful and friendlyand would highly recommend to our family and friends.
Date of stay: 7th September 2015
We really enjoyed our stay here. Yes the decor is outdated, but it had everything we needed and was very clean. Everybody was friendly and helpful. My only problem was that they did an hour of hyping the kids up in the evening then an hour of bingo where they wanted the kids to be silent and not mucking about. That didn't work for us as I have two small kids who were by that point very excitable. The facilities were good, and the boys loved the pool. I think it would be better if you can drive as it isn't close to a good beach but the one at Paignton was brilliant! We loved brixham harbour aswell. There's lots to do in the area, so aslong as your not planning on mainly being on site it's a great place to use as a base. The beds were comfy and the bedding provided was clean. There are supermarkets not too far away as the shop on site was expensive but this is to be expected in my experience. Overall I would 100% stay there again!
Date of stay: 6th July 2015
We had a great holiday. The chalet had obviously been updated and apart from the put-u-up in the lounge, everything was great. We had a fantastic view of the sea from our window and the food in the restaurant was very tasty. I would recommend it to anyone.

Accommodation could do with updating but it is just some to bathe and sleep, would like to see the outside's of chalet's painted.
Date of stay: 11th May 2015
Had a 3 night stint here, and found the accomodation clean, tidy and comfortable, with everything in working order. The location was great with stunning cliff views in one direction, and the town just down the road in the other. Would definitely come again!

Comfortable sofa and beds.

Broken drawers and doors on furniture, chalet not very clean dirty windows

Date of stay: 11th August 2014
Only thing that I can bring up was the sofa bed in the lounge was breaking along the bottom, everything else was perfect
Date of stay: 2nd August 2014
On arrival our chalet was filthy and made us not want to stay. I checked with reception if there was an upgarde we could take but there wasn't. Plates and cutlery were dirty. There were areas of the chalet that were easily accessible and immediately visible that were caked in dust grime and fluff. There was simply no need for it. One bed had a used tissue on it. The furniture i.e. coffee table, wardrobe etc. was so scruffy that you would just throw it away. Cleanliness was the only issue with the holiday, so what a shame to let themselves down.
Date of stay: 27th June 2014
A little more detail to cleanliness, is needed. Cobwebs, Dust, and kitchen bin dirty
Coffee table had sticky residue all over it.
Date of stay: 13th June 2014
Tired and dated with cleaners obviously given a time limit which does not allow for attention to detail BUT was quite liveable and only what we expected at a cheap price and confined to the lowest grade because we had our dog with us.
Date of stay: 21st April 2014

Date of stay: 21st April 2014
had a good time there
Love Berry Head and Brixham it was our first stay at Riviera Bay. chalet was basic but lovely and clean had the weather been kinder the view would have been fantastic regardless of the weather both of the grandchildren loved our stay.
This was the perfect break away from the pressures of every day life with the situation enabling us to relax completely.
Very good holiday did a week beginning of October
It's situated in a lovely area and there is so much to do. The site itself has a swimming pool, restaurant, entertainment room, an arcade, a bowling alley, soft play, a take away and a play park. The only let down was the arcade as there were a few of the machines broken or not quite working correctly and my little boy was enjoying himself before something got jammed and no-one could fix it. The chalet was small and basic but we were out all day so it was just fine for us. We had a sea view which was amazing to wake up to each morning. We booked the silver sea view chalet and I believe they were the best in the site for location and views. Overall, we had a fantastic holiday and for a bargain price, we were really happy.
Loved it we've been going there for 17 years and still enjoy now as we did then.
