What a wonderful place, lovely staff , beautiful surrounding and a lovely lodge perfect for spending time with family and great if you you have disabled family members. Highly recommend!!

Had the best time with all the family in one place. The lodge had everything you could need and all top quality.

The accommodation was absolutely fabulous - far exceeded our expectations, and excellent value for money. There was even a sauna, which we hadn't realised! (not that we got around to using it !).

The lodge was extremely well-equipped and we'll definitely be re-booking.

Fantastic three days away with friends just chilling

We had a lovely time and hope to be back in the future.

Love the Hexham. Like the interior of the bungalow better as a bit more contemporary but always a good quality and very clean

It was my 60th and they gave me a bottle of wine which was very nice.x

We don’t normally leave reviews but after having such a lovely time here and in the surrounding area we wanted to let others know how good it is. The accommodation was more like a 3 bed bungalow than a lodge we normally get so was very spacious and well equipped. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and everything was very good value for money

Warm, comfortable, very well appointed. Beds and bedding lovely, kitchen appliances and equipment, crockery etc all top quality, heating controls easy to use, you even get a golf buggy to get around. Marvellous

Quality accommodation and beautiful countryside. Good customer service in all areas. Recycling arrangements need to be addressed eg provide specific bins in lodges

A shower over the bath in the main bedroom would have been better than a hand held one. We had to use the one in the second bedroom.

Lovely lodges, with excellent layout, we had fabulous views from the sitting room and balcony. Ideally located easy access to Hexham and Corbridge, close to Newcastle. The pool and spa where a lovely addition. We were at a wedding at Healey Barn which is only 15 minute taxi drive.

Loved our time at the Hexham lodge.

We loved the lodge it was spotless and the furniture was cosy and the lodge had a home from home feeling .The beds were comfy the kitchen was lovely and the master bedroom was the best and the guest folder made us understand the lodge but it was a bit pricey. Overall absolutely fantastic

The only negative comment would be that the furnishings in the actual hall are overdue refurbishing. Everything else was high quality. We had a superb week.

Excellent from start to finish, our 2nd visit to Slaley Hall and just as great perfect as the 1st time, different accommodation this time (previously stayed in the Slaley) but the Hexham was equally as good. Golf buggy hire for the duration was great, good to ditch the car whilst on site!

Would deffo stay again..

Fantastic lodge, beautifully presented with everything in it you could wish for and those that you don’t even think of like the sauna in the bathroom. Tranquil and peaceful environment with the added bonus of the golf cart to get around. Great pool and spa area and beautiful surroundings.

Would book again without doubt and will.

Everything was just wonderful. In addition to fabulous accommodation, we enjoyed meals and drinks in the hotel restaurants and visited the pool and gym daily.

One area which needs serious attention !!!

The main restaurant was appalling
Very understaffed
No service what so ever, not even the basics.they pointed to the table that we had been allocated no one showed us to the table. We weren't asked if we would like a drink until we asked,we had to ask for menus, our drinks came after we finished our starters. The table next to us got there drinks after they finished there main courses,food was very average ( wedding food )
The bill was wrong, we questioned what the wrong items where but all the items were for items on previous menus, so we paid anyway as they couldn't itemise it all. The staff were laughing between themselves when we left. No one even said thanks or goodbye !!!
No Management in sight !!!
Will never visit the restaurant again !!!

Such a shame that this one area let the rest down

Wonderful stay, as above we would love to return but we will give Hadrian's a miss next time
