Auchenlarie is a very popular holiday park with many visitors coming back year after year. This is partly due to the beautiful private beach which is a wonderful place to spend summer days splashing in the waves and building sandcastles. The coast is also ideal for walking and cycling.
There is a fantastic kid's club here which will keep the little ones amused and give adults some time to relax. The fitness centre has a gym and beauty salon as well as a sauna and solarium.
Accommodation at Auchenlarie is in modern holiday homes which have two or three bedrooms and can sleep up to 8 people with 2 in the living area. If you are on a budget you could opt for the Auchenlarie Bronze which is more basic but still provides a comfortable base for your stay. Nice caravan bit lacking in utensils tin opener tired and not even a corkscrew/bottle opener
Great value for money could'nt beat it anywhwere
Roomy and comfortable, the silver 3 is a great size for the family. After a great nights sleep it's lovely to wake up to the beautiful views. Could sit for hours just looking out to sea. Can't wait to return.
Missing curtain hooks, dining table was dirty.
Had a dog with us so didnt expect much but very nice surprise en suite bedroom clean and well equipped only issues were previous guests had been smoking and the central heating took a while to figure out
Fantastic break. Couple of things with caravan - frying pan was still in oven filled with oil, plates needed cleaned again before use and ignition on cooker did not work so had to get candle lighter from shop. Couches bit worn but then we have to expect that being put in a bronze due to having dog. Other than that, all was good, fact that decking round caravan has a gate now was brilliant for just letting the dog out. Beds were one of comfiest have slept in. Fantastic value for money!
Brand new caravan fantastic
Was fantastic break ! caravan was real nice. Next to the club house . weather wasnt at its best but hey its Scotland. Got to say the onsite shop was Brilliant ! got everything you would need, fresh dairy products the lot and the best prices i have seen in any supermarket back home . wish i had got the gold caravan with hot tub ! But the silver was very nice. Wasnt impressed with the drinks prices which made us not go out to club alot. And the chippy wasnt much better. But over all the staff in the complex were real nice , and a beautiful area for a holiday. If anyone decides to go here do yourself a favour ? look up towards the sky at night time and you will see the most wonderful site . And look out for all the bunnys you will get my meaning when you go there . Gr8 to see the wildlife on site. Will defo try and return in holiday season to this fantastic caravan park , btw ! the young lassie who worked in shop next to swimming pool was very helpful think she lives on site 10 stars to her . And the lovely lady wie the glasses who was cleaning out changing rooms 10 stars to her too ! well if you dont believe me why dont you try a wee break away here u will luv it .
Caravan was spotless, in a quiet part of the camp which is what we wanted. Brilliant.
The van we stayed in must have new or nearly new it was spotless well designed.
Auchenlarie is the most welcoming, clean and professionally run park I have ever had the pleasure to stay at. The personal meet 'n' greet with a bottle of bubbly was a lovely touch and the accommodation and facilities are top class. I would highly recommend this park to all including families and couples. It is well placed for loads of local attractions and we will definitely be booking here again this year.
Excellent accommodation and value for money.
Great holiday, caravan park was first class, dealt with our queries immediately, caravan was brilliant, wonderful views.
Sssh...don't tell loads of your friends......Auchenlarie has the best facilities and grounds, we rate everything as outstanding including the tremendous views from all the accommodation.....sssh!!
Thoroughly enjoyed the site and local amenities. Had good days out at local attractions. Would go again.
We had an amazing time the staff were friendly and we were offered a complimentry bottle of wine on arrival just for a few leaves on the decking. Which was to be expected as we arrived during a storm. The staff were very friendly and helpful and were there if you needed them or in the background if you didn't. Excellent stay.
I was made to feel very welcome on the terrace off the restaurant where my husband and I were having lunch, it was great that we were able to take our dog and also that we were able to go into the sports bar for a drink. This is good that you are also catering for people who have pets and want to take them everywhere with them. I would definitely like to recommend this site.
Had a lovely stay at this holiday park, helpful staff and beautiful scenery, also good facilities. We took our dog, there was an area designated for you let your dog run around freely. We are going to go back again this year.
I have stayed at a number of caravan parks and this short break was real value for money. The caravan was excellent and spotless which you do not always get at other bigger parks and for the first time ever we had been left a box of matches a dish sponge, washing cloth and rubbish bags. Now this might not seem much but when you put it all together it's great.
Quiet, beautiful no matter what the weather.
