Wales is a beautiful and relaxing choice for a holiday and the holiday parks in this region have some of the most beautiful and rugged settings in the UK. Magnificent Snowdonia is just waiting to be explored in the north whereas the south has a more laid back feel with sunny beaches. Seaside towns make fun days out and there is no where better than the resort of Tenby which has no less than 3 Blue Flag beaches. The more lively resorts of Rhyl and Prestatyn are also well worth a visit. For family fun head for the theme parks in Pembrokeshire.

Wales is a lovely part of the UK to visit and is well known for it's castles, lush green scenery and charming Welsh towns and villages. For families there are also some amazing days out in the area.

Marine Park and Golden Sands are also great for budget breaks. If you want to be close to the North Wales coast then Talacre Beach holiday park is a good option with easy beach access and walking distance of sand dunes. Talacre beach is a top quality holiday park in North Wales recommended for those looking for good amenities and comfortable accommodation.

Park: Ty Mawr
Date of stay: June 2010
I stayed at Ty Mawr for 3 nights earlier this year and our children aged 5 and 9 really enjoyed it especially the indoor pool. The weather was a bit rubbish so this was a life saver. The entertainment on a night was a bit hit and miss but the cabaret show on the Saturday night was good. We have booked to go back to Wales next year but are staying at the Barmouth Bay park for a change.
