Nice clean caravan but not worth what we paid

Dawlish Warren is a lovely place to stay,
The gold plus caravan we had was one of the refurbished ones. The decor and interior size was fantastic and central heating was a bonus . It was nice to see so much open space from the minute we walked through the door.
Caravan very clean good layout not enough pans but they were quickly provided
Amazing full size fridge freezer. Cooker worked well. Bedrooms are a bit tight but everything else was good.
Nice size caravan, with great facilities.
Caravan was cleaned to a very high standard when we arrived, bed linen wasn't in caravan went to reception and by the time I got back to caravan there was a member of staff their with new bed linen they was typical of staff very helpful
The caravan was as we expected so were happy with what we got
Although this was a brand new van, we felt that the manufacturers has scrimped a bit on the thickness of the internal walls and some of the space inside. The double bedroom was a bit on the small side and was lacking in storage. Also the wall between the double room and one of the twin rooms was a bit on the thin side - our teenage son could hear every word we said, no matter how quiet we were.
We have stayed in quite a few different vans over the years, including ones at Dawlish Sands, and have always had a slightly bigger double room and more storage in it. Also we have never had a quiet conversation through bedroom walls.
Very good, quiet, relaxing, enjoyable
Nice place clean caravans but not much on the site for the kids and not much to do off site
Lovely spot & staff very helpful
Nice time friendly staff kids enjoyed the week
Site very good and staff helpful and friendly. One of the best holiday pools for swimming I have been in, simple clean and safe. Had two weeks holiday and by choice two different caravans. Each week there were 4 of us. Caravan first week was for 10 people. The 4 bedrooms are good size with plenty of storage. Lounge area quite small for 10 though and am concerned as taking a party of 7 adults, 1 teenager and 1 under 5 in the same kind of caravan for family holiday in July and it will be a tight squeeze in the lounge and at least one of us sleeping in there. One shower fine...one toilet for 10 a concern. Oven only one shelf and the door in ours swung back on you when opened. Reported the danger of this, but was told it was 'normal' grrr. Three quite small cooking pans even for 4 quite challenging am very worried it will be impossible for 9. Second caravan slept 8 bronze +. Three very good sized bedrooms, one shower and toilet and another separate toilet, brill. Lounge area very good size and big enough for even more than 8. Same size cooking pans as in caravan 1 and only 1 shelf in oven. Both caravans clean and in good order. Had breakfast in Park restaurant on last morning. Was first in que to order breakfasts at 9.00 as train to catch....no one came to take orders till 9.20. He explained he had been busy doing other tasks. Good family entertainment and nice little club.
We're a family of 4 and have stayed at Dawlish Waren many times,This is the first time at Dawlish Sands and wont be the last,Staff are extremely helpful and friendly, the caravan was very clean, the bar wasn't to big or expensive. The only negative point we found,is that you have to take your shoes off to go into the pool area, which is understandable, but maybe have a room in which you can do this,as it was chucking it down when we were there, and its not the easiest putting socks and shoes on in the rain.
But apart from that,we loved our stay.
