Very lovely location and the lodge itself was stunning. Surrounding area and the marina village is beautiful. Can't wait to book again
Only down side was hot tub round the corner not at the back in front of the patio
In need of a bit of an update but great still
Had a beautiful few days. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic hidden gem. Only half an hour by train from London but blissfully peaceful

excellent lodge , lovely comfy and clean , loved the site and surroundings
Emma, Se London
The only negative I have which is the reason for 7/10 is we couldn't pull the blinds down in the living area without the fixture popping off & the taps in the ensuite came off (sink & shower), the shower itself worked but it's holder was loose & the jets weren't working. No wifi was a bit annoying so couldn't chill out with Netflix (tv had free view but literally the basic channels) but wasn't really too fussed.
Although this is minor-the curtains/blinds were dusty & lots of cobwebs around windows & doors & hot tub steps etc (not a complaint at all but if I didn't say then it can't be corrected😉) x
Great location, nice walks by canal, great connection to London. Nice lodges & excellent restaurant on site which is good value at lunch

Great location, very close to the train station and easy walking distance to the village with pubs & a shop.
We loved this place but unfortunately had to cancel early. We arrived on the 23rd of December but had to leave on the 25th as my 80 yr old brother-in-law was ill. Will try again on our own later.
