We enjoyed our stay in Ulverston caravan, but found the main bed too small. So would look at other accommodation next time with decent size bed

Nice caravan. Clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful, sorted one or two minor glitches immediately after I advised them after we had arrived. All done within an hour or so.

Fallbarrow holiday park is great place to take the family, with plenty to do for all the family and great restaurants just on the door step with ample entertainment and right on lake Windermere, with a little beach area to dip the toes. Great value for money. And very friendly, helpful staff.

the caravan itself was lovely.only thing was someone had dug a sharp object into sofa seat and caused damage.also partition dividing loung and kitchen had a bit pulled off.otherwise everything else was fine.i dont know why people cant respect other peoples property and do damage.shower was brilliant very powerful.

Dirty on arrival and old sofas in need of a change. Great layout and could have been a brilliant lodge but cleanliness was very disappointing. It was in need of a deep clean and hadn’t been cleaned properly at all before our arrival, the rugs clearly hadn’t been vacuumed with lots of dog hair on them and dust in all the corners / skirting boards and windows. Cob webs on every window too.

Cons - poor to none WiFi signal
- hoping for a lake view.. But didn't matter because:
Pros - excellent location so close to the town and pubs, bar comparable with town prices, perfect clean Appleby lodge with all mod cons and garden furniture, peaceful and quiet a perfect winter getaway. All you need apart from a hairdryer.
I would say perfection if heating had been put on for arrival and I hadn't had to spend 20 minutes connecting the Freesat and soundbar.
With WiFi and perhaps a leisure room this place would be heaven!

As previously said, lodge was one of the best we have had at Fallbarrow. Perhaps could have a few more glasses in the kitchen, but that is the only niggle. Lovely location on Beech Hill , even had a tiny view of the lake. The early morning walk down to the café for my newspaper was stunning.
Will be back again next week and also next year.

Quite a few cobwebs in the accommodation.
Restaurant on the Saturday night was awful. Music far too loud, DJ incredibly annoying, nowhere quiet to eat. Regretted going there to eat. Had to get refund on dessert as poor quality

Such a lovely park, good to be next to lake with its wonderful views. Couple of minutes walk and you are in Bowness. Staff very friendly and helpful. We have stayed there in the past and will hopefully get back again. Would definitely recommend.
