Log cabins were clean and comfortable some furniture had seen better days but we weren't disappointed, some items missing from kitchen and if we asked would probably have been supplied but we made do with what was available, booked a 3 bedroom cabin for myself and my adult son but assumption was made that we were a couple and bedding was only supplied for one double bed and we had to ask for more bedding, no spare bedding or blankets supplied

Sofa can do with updating like you were sitting on the floor

The lodge was warm and cosy. The bed’s comfortable. It was clean and tidy, however we had no shelves in the fridge, no kettle and only one small saucepan. I went to reception and this was sorted out quickly. The sofa and chairs are very soft but covered making the place dog friendly. It was spacious and had nice enclosed decking area. It was very quiet at night. It would benefit from one or two lamps rather than the main lights, when sitting at night and the showers were very unpredictable.

If you're looking for a small, quiet site this is perfect.We weren't sure about booking due to some of the negative reviews, but none of them were true in our experience.Staff were friendly and helpful. Lodge was clean and comfortable.We're already talking about when we'll go back.

We had a lovely stay at Tima Lodge 2, surrounded by stunning views. The lodge itself is simple but comfortable-nothing luxury, but perfect for unwinding. The location is quite remote, so you really feel like you're escaping city stress. Overall, the lodges provide everything you need for a peaceful break and we’re definitely planning to return!

We had a lovely stay! The place is super cosy and peaceful and we loved that dogs are welcome. Sure, the decor’s a bit old-fashioned, but it didn’t matter much. Definitely coming back!

The caravan was really nice and well kitted out. I especially appreciated the kitchen’s storage - plenty of space to stash all our food. Definitely a great stay!

We arrived at around 3:10pm after quite a drive, only to be told we were 50 minutes early for check-in. No friendly greeting or any chat about the journey, just that info. The lady showing us to the cabin was really nice though. The park’s nestled right in the middle of Ettrick Valley, which we absolutely loved - such a remote spot, really peaceful. The cabin is a bit dated, but that didn’t bother us at all; it was cosy and perfect for unwinding over the weekend. No wifi, but we had full 4G signal, so downloading stuff and browsing was no problem at all. The nearest shop and town, Selkirk, is about a 40-minute drive, which we knew beforeh and. Overall, the welcome could’ve been warmer, but the location, the cabin, the price and the whole vibe made up for it. We’d definitely come back!

Comfort could be better, especially the chairs.

The cabin felt a bit tired and had a slight odour, but honestly, I’ve stayed in much worse places. Not perfect, but okay for the price.

The lodge was genuinely lovely and felt quite spacious, which we really appreciated. The only tiny gripe was the settee - it was a bit worn out and the cushions looked well used. Still, it didn’t bother us much since it was comfy enough. Overall, a great place to stay!

We stayed at the Tima log cabin recently and honestly, it was a lovely experience. The kitchen was a real highlight - really spacious, with a massive 7-foot fridge freezer and a good cooker, plus all the utensils you could need. The dining table was perfect for our group, seating six comfortably. The living space felt bright and modern and it was super cosy, especially with the central heating. The place was spotless and everything looked new or well-maintained. Bedrooms were comfy, with a nice king-size and two singles. We also loved the front balcony with a bench and the grassy area with a picnic table - perfect for relaxing outside!

Perfect for a peaceful retreat, totally unplugged, no signal, just pure relaxation away from the chaos.

Angecroft Park really is a lovely spot to unwind, especially if you enjoy walking. The caravan was spotless and the staff were so helpful and friendly. Amazing stay!

We had a really peaceful couple of nights in this lovely caravan. Perfect spot for walking, birdwatching and botanising. Very little noise from passing cars or other guests. Just a long trek to anywhere else, though!

We had a really chilled weekend here, just what we needed to escape the hustle and bustle. The park is so remote and peaceful, perfect for dogs to run around freely. The caravan had everything we needed for cooking and was quite comfy, though it’s pretty basic. There’s a small shop on-site that stocks the essentials, plus a few board games, books and DVDs to borrow which was a nice touch. One thing to note is that, even though the caravan sleeps up to 6, it was booked for just the two of us. Only the double bed was made up and no extra linen was provided for the other beds. Luckily, we brought some of our own, so it wasn’t a big deal. Overall, a lovely quiet spot for a weekend and we’d definitely go back if we want some downtime away from everything. It’s simple but just what we needed.

Found peace and greenery within the area. The site was kept clean and tidy and was quiet. Upon arrival the assistant warden was welcoming and provided us with the information needed and offered assistance on anything else that may have been needed.

Probably the best caravan we've stayed in. Very clean and spacious. Good cooking facilities. Very isolated, so make sure you get supplies before you arrive. Hawick 35mins away for big shops. Nothing closer! It's a very quiet area, great for walking, biking, wild swimming etc. Hardly any traffic. Some flies but manageable. We went to Edinburgh, and it was 1hr:30 away. Hadrian's Wall easy day trip. Great beaches near Dumfries.

Nice and peaceful park. Secluded so quite a drive to get to places but lovely drives and beautiful scenery on the way. Staff lovely and helpful. No signal unless ur on Vodafone or o2. But that didn't bother us. Dvd players and a great selection of dvds you can borrow. Also board games, toys and books you can borrow too. Would recommend the kids loved it too. ? would defo stay here again.

Very remote - which was perfect in my opinion. A great place to ultimately switch off and not be disturbed by anyone. Cabin very basic, but clean. Ideal for 3-4 people
