We had such a lovely stay at this cottage! The place is super well kept and fully equipped, making it really comfortable. The dog walks right outside were perfect for our pups and we loved meeting the farm animals, especially Penelope the pig. The host was friendly and quick to reply. We’ll definitely be coming back - great value!

We had a fantastic stay at this lodge! The laminated floors made cleaning up after our muddy paws super easy, which was a relief. The hot tub was just right after a day of exploring and the lodge facilities were spot on. The park itself isn’t much, but honestly, that meant we had plenty of peaceful walks with the dog. Loved it!

We stayed at the lodge and loved the luxurious vibe. The place is really well equipped. Only downside was the rainfall shower head in the main bedroom was broken and the third room’s bunk bed area was too small for our travel cot, so baby came into our room. Still, overall a great stay!

Overall, we had a nice stay, but a few small issues. The bathroom vents could be stronger, especially over the shower and bath, as steam was peeling the ceiling paint. Also, the toilet seats in both bedrooms felt a bit loose.

We stayed in lodge number 7and honestly, it was quite a different vibe from the photos online. Still, it was modern, really spacious and spotlessly clean, which was impressive. The hot tub stayed nice and clean all week, which was a bonus. The place is right by a busy road, so you do get some noise, but that’s expected. I think it’s a bit pricey, especially during school holidays and with Covid restrictions, since there’s not much to do on-site. Still, for a short Suffolk getaway, it’s quite decent.

We just got back from a four-night stay at this cosy cottage and honestly, we loved it! The owners are super friendly but not pushy, which was perfect. Our dog adored the big fenced garden and the place had everything we could think of-really well equipped. We even tried out the BBQ one evening, which was great. The hot tub was definitely a highlight! We’d happily come back and already recommend it to friends. Thanks for a lovely break!

We had a lovely stay at this cottage tucked away on a working farm, yet it feels really private. The owners, Robert and Sharon, couldn’t be nicer. The place itself is spacious with well-equipped kitchen and bathroom and the bed was super comfy-great for a good night’s sleep. The garden is perfect for dogs, totally secluded and nicely furnished. There are plenty of walks nearby and Thaxted’s restaurants, like The Star and The Maypole, are worth checking out. We’d definitely recommend it!

We stayed at this lovely cottage recently and honestly, the owners are genuinely wonderful-so considerate and helpful from start to finish. The place itself is adorable, with a charming half-timbered design and a really strong shower that’s perfect after a day out. The cosy kitchen and comfy bed made us feel right at home. Plus, parking right next to the cottage was a real bonus. It’s well-heated, spotless and perfect for exploring walks to Thaxted and nearby villages. We’d definitely return!

We were a bit wary after reading some not-so-great reviews, but honestly, our stay turned out pretty good. The place was spotless and looked nice. The hot tub took a while to warm up and my son was a bit annoyed about no wifi and the Nespresso machine not working, but we actually enjoyed unplugging for a bit. It was a nice change of pace!

We had a lovely stay at this charming spot tucked away in a peaceful, private setting. The owners were super friendly and always willing to help without intruding, which we really appreciated. The hot tub was just what we needed after a long day of cycling - such a treat! One thing to note, though, is that the cottage is directly under Stansted’s flight path, so there’s quite a bit of aircraft noise. It didn’t bother us after a while, but if you're sensitive to noise, it’s worth mentioning. Overall, a great place to unwind!

We had such a great weekend here! The place was perfect for what we needed and the pups had a blast, especially with the underfloor heating-so cosy! The garden was lovely for them to run around. Luna was wagging her tail so much, she ended up with a strained one. Definitely planning to come back soon, we loved it!

Really enjoyed our stay! The lodges were tidy, modern and well separated, making it super relaxing. Having great walks right from the doorstep was an added bonus. Loved it!
Amanda
A beautifully clean and well kept lodge. The park was quiet (no shop, entertainment area, play park) which was perfect for us. A great place to stay to visit Bury St Edmund's, Newmarket and Ely before relaxing in the hot tub in a peaceful environment. Mar and her team were friendly and always only a call away. We would definitely return.
Lynn
Lovely holiday when we arrived mar came and welcomed us straight away really friendly and showed us round the guys who work with her are great clean the hot tub every day and leave you to enjoy your holiday if you need anything mar will do what she can to help we will be back
Anita
Beautiful park with an amazing lodge. Really quiet and peaceful, perfect for a break away. Lovely village pub around 10 minutes walk and only a 10 minute drive into the local town. The only down side we found is that we were in a lodge near some works going on, so sometimes it became a bit noisy.
Karen
Definitely recommend this place - really clean and well presented- Mar the site manager was really friendly and helpful. We used it to meet up with family it was just perfect. Thank you for a lovely stay
Andrew
Beautiful cabin, lovely quiet park, could do with a shop. Would definitely go again.
Gina
The lodge was lovely and the staff were exceptional. Had a lovely holiday
Phillip
Fantastic peaceful location with very helpfull staff.
Tracy
Great peaceful break. Lovely lodge with hot tub and helpful staff. A visit to Bury St Edmonds was a good day out. Only negative was on last day we were packed and in the car ready to leave at 8.55am. I was setting up the sat nav and a lady drove up and sat in her car waiting until I moved the car from the parking space. I moved out of the space so she could park as I assumed she was the house keeper. She then drove up behind me and sat there so I had to move again. She was basically forcing me off the site. We were due to leave at 9, I was a few minutes early and so this annoyed me. Once I’d driven off she drove away to another lodge!
