We had a really lovely time staying here. Sharon and Robert were such warm hosts, making us feel right at home from the start. The place was spotless, comfy and safe for Archie, which was a big plus. The location was perfect too-loads of nice walks and Thaxted and nearby villages are so charming. By the end of the week, we truly felt refreshed and relaxed. Definitely a great escape!

Date of stay: 10th March 2025
We spent a week here in mid-July with our two tiny dachshunds and they loved every minute! They made some new friends in the charming village of Thaxted, which was a lovely bonus. The cottage itself is really pretty and the hot tub was a real treat-especially with the scorching weather; the cool water was so refreshing after a long day. The hosts were genuinely friendly and welcoming and it was nice to see their dogs going out to the fields daily. Being near Stansted’s flight path was interesting too, we enjoyed watching the planes land. Would definitely stay again!

This place is really well thought out. We had such a relaxing stay and already told friends to check it out!
Harper, Gb
Date of stay: 19th February 2025
We stayed in the pods recently and honestly, the view was absolutely stunning, especially at sunset when you’re relaxing in the hot tub. Watching the landscape change colour was such a treat! The layout was well thought out - the space between the pods gave us privacy but didn’t make us feel isolated at all, which was perfect. The sofa bed was super comfy and the pillows were so fluffy, we actually had a good sleep. It was really handy being able to fold it into a bed and just shuffle past to the bathroom or the side door - made things simple throughout the week. We finally figured out the mood lighting and enjoyed personalising the space a bit, which added a nice cosy touch. The soft blankets were a lovely addition, especially as it got a bit cooler in the evenings. I also loved the little mural scenes, like the waterfall in the shower, they really made it feel special. Only tiny gripe - we did notice that some skirting boards and corners weren’t as clean as they could be, but honestly, it didn’t detract from the stay. All in all, it felt like a comfy home away from home, super peaceful and just what we needed to recharge. We’re already planning to come back next year!

We just needed a quick escape with the dog and this place hit the mark! Lovely comfy stay, nearby pubs and shops and endless fields for walks. Honestly, the dog didn’t want to leave at all!

Date of stay: 9th February 2025
We had a lovely stay! Sharon and Robert really made us feel at home, which was much appreciated. The place was spotlessly clean, cosy and perfect for our dog Archie - he was safe and happy. The location was fantastic, with lots of walks nearby and Thaxted and the surrounding villages are just charming. We definitely left feeling refreshed and relaxed, so all in all, a great break!
Alex, Norwich

We spent a week here in mid-July with our two mini daschunds and honestly, it was a lovely stay. The cottage is charming and the hot tub was a real highlight, especially during the scorching weather - it was so refreshing to dip in after a day out. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and it was nice to see their dogs being taken to the fields each day. Being close to Stansted’s flight path was actually quite fun - watching the planes land was oddly relaxing. We’d definitely recommend Hide for a peaceful getaway!

Absolutely loved our time at Goddards Mead! The cottage was perfect in every aspect. We’ll definitely return soon, no doubt!

A really friendly place. Beautiful scenery, park is located 10 mins walking distance from Narbeth Town, where there are some really lovely restaurants. Facilities on site are fantastic, all the staff are really helpful and kind, and make you feel really welcome. Spotlessly clean site.
Lee
We stayed as a family of 6 in the Foxglove Safari tent and found it to be the perfect little trip. The tent has everything you need and was clean and well looked after. The hot tub was cleaned daily and facilities on the site were spot on. Only slight negative was the outdoor pool closed at 5pm and you have to check out at 9am which is a bit early, however these were only minor and didn’t detract from a great overall few days.
Jenna
We stayed in one of the poppy’s and had a great time! Quirky, clean and lots of room for the two of us with great views! We would 100% stay here again. We couldn’t get wifi but it did advise we may mot be able to when we booked it.
Rebecca
The only issue we had was that the bed is two singles put together and was very difficult when getting into bed as one mattress would go sliding one way and the other the other way. Very lovely site, food is amazing. Location is 5 mins or 10 mins to places like Saundersfoot and tenby and folly farm and oakwood. Gave a complimentary bottle of wine, crisps and welsh cakes which was a lovely touch! Let alone a little pouch of a "bit of Pembrokeshire " to take home with us which was great to keep as our first couple holiday. Definitely coming back with both our children
Aimee
Absolute lovely location, great facilities, friendly and welcoming staff and well worth the money!
Beena
It was our first time doing this kind of holiday. We loved the Poppy pod, hot tub and swimming pool. The staff were so helpful and helpful. We would definitely come again ?
Ceri
Love it at Celtic Escapes Narberth. We return every year. This year we stayed at Hamptons 1 and it lived up to expectations. My only feedback would be the lumpy bed as we have found in all the accommodations we have stayed in here but it was tolerable, a new mattress every couple of years wouldn’t go a miss!
Margaret
Loved the park very clean staff very friendly and helpful and loved the club house great food
Derek
