Absolutely stunned at how big this lodge was, everything you need. Bed was so comfy could have slept in it all day. Very warm, very modern and has everything you need for a great break away, hot tub was great but was hoping for a bit more privacy but didn’t spoil it.

Absolutely beautiful lodge was immaculately clean and so luxurious! Lady who checked us in was very friendly and showed us everything we needed / how hot tub worked etc. We stayed over Christmas and had the most wonderful and relaxing break even with 3 young children! Will Absolutely be returning.

The only disappointment was the hot tub. It was positioned too close to the fence and therefore it was difficult to pull the cover off. You had to squeeze sideways between the fence and the tub and it was muddy underfoot . ( lodge 17).

The lodge was fantastic. It looked fresh out of the factory. Barely a mark or a scuff. Looked high end and the roll top bath was glorious. We also had plenty of space inside and outside of the lodge. Only negative was pet owners weren’t allowed a hot tub option. Couldn’t understand why? Also, there wasn’t any staff to be seen. Most campsites have people cleaning tiolets, manning reception, and attending to the grass, etc. I only noticed the shop and reception open briefly. Having said all that the lodge and camp was fantasy so perhaps there’s lots of staff working in the small hours. Lovely

Really well equipped house, lovely and warm too which was so nice on a rainy December day! Bath was just lovely and a nice big shower! It was everything we wanted for our weekend away and we loved staying here. We'll definitely be back! Our pups absolutely loved the underfloor heating and had so much fun in the garden. In fact Luna came home with a strained tail and according to the vet it was because she was wagging it so much over the weekend!! Very happy pups and hoomans!

The owners Rob & Sharon, have gone to a great deal of work to sympathetically convert this historic building & we couldn't have had a warmer greeting from them both & of course Bonnie. Such a lovely place to stay in a really beautiful, private location. The owners were really friendly and helpful, nearby if needed but without breaking that sense of privacy. The lovely cottage is situated on a working farm, but is very private. The owners, Robert and Sharon, are delightful. The cottage is very spacious with good equipment in the kitchen and the bathroom. Lovely friendly owners. Couldnt do enough when the power went down due to the storm. Very well equipped and clean. Very warm cottage. Our dog enjoyed the enclosed outside space and us the hot tub!
Georgina
Perfect venue for a quiet break away. Sharon and Robert have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. Although this was our second visit it definitely will not be our last.
Donald
An amazing accommodation in side and great hot tub. The location of the neighbours cabins are rather close tho.
Kristine
Was very nice to spend our family holiday here. Definitely we will come back.

This was our first visit to Chestnut Meadow. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return again soon. It is a very clean well managed peaceful gated site mostly surrounded by trees. Eighteen of the twenty two lodges on the site are finished. They are nicely spaced out, each with adjacent parking for two vehicles. The management and staff are very helpful. There is a small shop on the site, but stock is limited. Each lodge has 100mbps fibre broadband however the firewall restricts access to some sites. The site is within 6 miles of a good supermarket and within 8 miles of Hastings.
Sharla
I visited the lodge with my family including small children and feel like the lodge was perfect! It was very spacious, had good sized rooms and was very clean. One of the issues for me personally was the hot water was set to a certain temperature so couldn’t have a hot, hot shower but was warm enough! Also note there is no iron or hoover to clean. We were provided with a broom but this was broken and the staff explained it couldn’t be replaced as there were no more available. The hot tub was amazing and was cleaned daily. Remember to bring additional towels if using the hot tub! I would definitely recommend despite the minor issues explained above.
David
It was our first time holidaying here we will definitely return. Couldn’t fault accommodation or facilities.
Jemena
Pristine lodge. Quiet area. Great hot tub.
Tracy

Tina
Beautiful clean very luxurious lodge peaceful and quiet location
Precious
Nice holiday, very clean. Could have been a 10 if we had more towels, hangers, l understand there’s Covid-19 but check out time is very early.
Alison
New park lodge was fantastic on site shop needs to improve some more regular items on the shelves would help
Sue
Absolutely beautiful lodge spotlessly clean and so peaceful. Hot tub was brilliant. A very relaxing stay. The only thing it’s lacking in my opinion is a washing machine and hair dryer. But honestly the accommodation is simply amazing.
