Where's Littlesea Holiday Park?
Richard, Ashford, Kent
Date of stay: 14th September 2018
We were lucky to have a week in September with only half a day's rain. We managed to visit about six or seven National Trust sites-- all within an hour's drive of the caravan site.
Weymouth itself is an interesting town.
Christine, London

Date of stay: 30th October 2017
Our caravan was great - beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and well equipped. One negative - the instructions for working the heating were not clear - however once we got it working it was very efficient.

Although the caravan was well equipped for the 6 people it catered for I would not want to spend a week there with 6 people as the bed in the lounge is quite small for 2 and there is not storage space for them but for a weekend it was OK.
(and the wardrobe in the main bedroom is big enough for all)
Lovely to have a second toilet too.
Julie, Byfleet Surrey

LUXURY caravan with a view and parking outside. what more could we ask for ?
We could tell it was a privately owned caravan because of the extra touches to detail including fresh flowers.
Loved that it had to bathroom, makes it so much easier getting ready in the morning with 3 kids.

Date of stay: 3rd August 2015
The caravan was clean and spacious but, I requested a veranda when I booked and was disappointed to find the caravan did not have one. Also, there was no outside furniture. 2 bedside lights were missing bulbs (important in the children's rooms) I asked for this to be fixed just after we arrived on the Fri afternoon and the bulbs still we're not replaced when we left on Monday.
Sarah, Leicester

The carravan was a decent size and great value for money.looked to be one of best in the site. However it needed a deep clean as we found childrens toys and a dummy from previous guests and alot of ants on the window in the mornings.

Leonard, Brentwood Essex
Date of stay: 12th September 2014
Could have free wifi for all caravans Having a dog no place to get a cool drink on a hot day as the dog is not allowed near the complex where the bars are. Not allowed in the garden area.
Susan, Harlow
Date of stay: 29th August 2014
The caravan itself was clean, carpets could have been better.
I have an enormouse complaint about the high chair that I hired. The straps were filthy, the only way to clean them was to unscrew them from the frame, this clearly was not a proceedure that was implemented. I complained and the chair was replaced by a brand new one. This also had screwed straps why?
Katherine
Date of stay: 15th August 2014
We had a lovely time at littlesea. The only cons I have were the cleanliness of the caravan.there was a stain mark on a bedroom wall, , large stain mark on fireplace, tissue and a razor on the bathroom floor when we arrived which i thought was dreadful to be left seeing as i had young children and went I went to leave I checked on top of one of the wardrobes and found a magazine and tissue covered in dust. Not impressed with the cleaning.
Secondly the mssh and barrell service wasnt very good.we had to wait over an hour for our food.
Ruth, Newport, Isle Of Wight
Date of stay: 14th July 2014

Karen, Basingstoke
Date of stay: 16th June 2014
We were only here for a few days but had a super holiday. Lots of activities for the children to do. Thought the on site restaurant was rather expensive but the site, staff and surroundings were excellent.
Maria, London
Date of stay: 23rd May 2014
It was a very comfortable caravan. Fitted with everything we needed. Facilities such as hot water and gas up to an standard. We really felt free staying in this caravan. I would really recommend it. It was our first time renting a caravan for few days, it was really good. The whole park offers what is meant to have a family holiday park. The swimming pool is big enough for families and the changing rooms and showers where really great! clean and spacious. The bar restaurant has an great outdoor area for kids to play while parents chill out and still be able to check on kids.
My only criticism would be that it would have been great to have the chance to do some other activity for kids and adults included in the package, instead of having to pay for 6 separated. At least one for a tester session or so.

The beach is not that close to the park, so we think that necessarily it would suit better families with a car. The lake was ok but not much of a beach.
But on the whole it was great.

Thanks.
Joan, Market Harborough
Date of stay: 23rd May 2014
In all fantastic though we had problems with ants in kitchen and main bedroom dealt with 24 hours later.
Tracey, Surrey
Date of stay: 23rd May 2014
When checking in, I needed bed guards, the desk staff were very helpful and were delivered as be got to van, nothing was to much trouble. The site was perfect for children and could easily keep them occupied for a week without leaving complex.
David, Middlewich
Date of stay: 16th May 2014
Overall we felt we are getting to old for holiday parks because everything is geared towards young children, but that is not a bad thing. We will chose a smaller park next time.
Tajana, London
Date of stay: 25th April 2014
Our caravan was very clean and modern. Children enjoyed swimming in the indoor heated pool very much and playing in children's play areas. All facilities were extremely clean. We had a lovely holiday and will be back!

Belinda
Very nice very clean staff brilliant we had a nice time
Claire
Great holiday. Lots to do in surrounding area despite the rain and the children loved the kids activities, crazy golf and evening ents.
Julie
Very good site. Would have been perfect if pool had a slide.
Sheila
Both the site and caravan was really tidy and clean.
Ron
Lovely short break. Needed gas central heating at this time of year, the small electric heaters were not adequate.
N
Stayed at littlesea in the past ,still a nice park
Karen
Had a really great time, caravan was excellent and facilities on site were great. My only complaint was that the reception area had no seating which was awkward as I have a mobility problem.
Carol
We went with my elderly parents, they had a fantastic time, the caravan was clean and comfortable, staff helped in making sure we had two toilets, as my father has a colostomy and my mother has ibs. We were near enough to all amenities without being on top of them. Its very useful to have a bus to take you into Weymouth. It was a long journey for us to get to Weymouth but it was worth it.
Stephen
We had a great time our grandchildren throughley enjoyed it

Fun Days Out near Littlesea Holiday Park

about 8 Miles
This family orientated museum is dedicated to Teddy Bears both old and new Edward Bear and his family of people sized bears are one of the main attractions.  You can buy teddy bear gifts from the quaint shop including top notch brands.  The Steiff Teddy Bear and Merrythought bears are very popular.  Open 7 days a week all year round (except 25th and 26th December) this is a perfect all weather place to visit.
about 8 Miles
Kingston Maurward Gardens and Animal Park is a magical place to visit with grand gardens and plenty of animals to meet.  From goats and ponies to alpacas and pot bellied pigs this attraction is excellent value for money.  You can feel free to explore the grounds too which are especially lovely on sunny days.  You will see majestic floral displays, stone terraces, a temple and even a lake.
about 13 Miles
Monkey World is not only a local attraction but the work they carry out is amazing.  Rescuing and rehabilitating monkeys and assisting governments around the world to stop the smuggling of primates are just some of the purposes of the centre. You get to see the primates themselves many of which have become famous from appearing on the TV show Monkey World - a documentary about this place. Open year round we think this is one of best attractions in Dorset and you even get the chance to adopt a monkey if you choose.
about 23 Miles
The perfect place to visit on a rainy day this large Sealife Centre is currently offering 2 tickets for £15.00 when you book online. Top attractions include the amazing shark tunnel, the rock pools and the otter enclosure. This year Loch Lomond Sealife Centre is also home to Cammy - the only Giant Sea Turtle in Scotland! The centre also offers visitors an educational experience with talks and hands on events taking place daily.
about 36 Miles
This year round attraction has been described as Devon's most magnificent historic gardens.  Located in the Otter Valley area of East Devon you can enjoy a fun day out in a picturesque setting. Highlights include historic Palm house, containing some of the world’s most endangered species and Bicton Woodland Railway - which takes you on a 25 minute journey through the lovely grounds.  For children there is a miniature village with mini golf, nature trail and indoor play area.
