Manleigh Park

North Devon » Combe Martin

North Devon is renowned for its beautiful coastline and the sheer variety of watersports available, such as windsurfing, water skiing, canoeing and diving. Surrounded by the gorgeous beaches at Ilfracombe and Woolacombe, Manleigh Park has a wealth of walks and cycle routes on the doorstep, as well as excellent facilities and comfortable, well equipped accommodation.

There is a superb bar and clubhouse, which you can bring your own drinks and snacks to, as well as a launderette on site. WiFi access is also available. There are plenty of places nearby to eat and drink. Barnstaple has a good choice of restaurants - The Garden Restaurant has wonderful views across the Taw estuary and lots of outdoor seating.

Ragamuffins Bistro in Braunton is renowned for its locally caught fish and seafood.

We recommend the Manleigh Chalet - it sleeps up to four people and has been nicely refurbished. It has an open plan living area and patio doors that lead out to the verandah, plus a well equipped kitchen with microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The chalet has panoramic views across the valley.

Lynmouth Bay is excellent for surfers thanks to its hair-raising waves! The village itself is also well worth a visit; its streets are full of character and history. Barnstaple Heritage Centre is a fun day out - it has touch screen interactive computers and mock-ups that bring the history of the town to life

They said that everything was included - and they really did mean everything that you could need! I was a little nervous about cooking Christmas dinner away from home, but I need not have worried. The cabin was comfortable and lovely and warm - something that was much appreciated over the Christmas period!

Lovely setting , very relaxing peace and quiet. Lodge was spotless and very well equipped, nice and cosy even though it was freezing outside. Hot tub was amazing especially in the cold weather. The boys had great fun fishing too.
David
Stayed for 1week and can’t wait to go back in June. This is a place to chill and relax plus if you fish it’s a bounus as the fishing is excellent. Cabins are home from home all you need. No phone signal no Wi-fi just pure peace and quiet.
Sharon

Simon
My week at Wooda Lakes was very relaxing and quiet and the fishing was good to I recommend Wooda lake
Nicola
Lodge was amazing, very warm and cosy inside and the hot tub was lovely..even in the snow! The lakes were great too, we caught lots of different fish. Stuart the owner was also very helpful and friendly
Emma
What an absolute gem of a place. The lodge was spacious and well equipped. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking, being a January break meant it was rather wet, but that didn't stop the 8year old or the men enjoying the hot tub. The owners were most friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Would love to come back in the warmer weather to take full advantage of the hot tub and fishing.
Simon
Went for a short break and as usual it is quiet and good accommodation. The fishing was my main reason for going and the resident lake is very good fun.
Trudy
Relaxing and comfortable. Pleasant surroundings and home from home accomodation with lovely touches like a pint of milk in the fridge on arrival and a coffee selection for the tassimo, oh and biscuits too.
Julie
Excellent accommodation, very clean and well equipped the only negative would be too swap the washing machine for a dishwasher!!!
