Date of stay: 2nd July 2018
The caravan was very dated and needed a lot of airing but was great once we had done that, the bed linen was lovely and clean as was all the essentials, and we thought it was really good value for money overall.
Jeffrey, Southend On Sea

Caravan quite dated, but everything in good working order., comfortable and very clean. Shower very good, not one drop of water leaked out of the cubicle like it seems to in most places these days.

Nice large caravan but a bit dated and tired. We got a holiday deal so didn't expect the latest van. Accommodation was spacious and comfortable with a good mattress in the bedroom. The kitchen was well equipped and tv reception was good.

Date of stay: 28th October 2016
The caravans on the park are not new models, but are well looked after and cared for older models. The floors were all washed and the carpets had been washed with a carpet cleaner. There were personal touches ln the caravan too and well equipped kitchen . I have stayed at places like haven in the past and they don't put has much care into there caravans as the owner does here.
John, Bury St Edmunds
Date of stay: 7th October 2016
Not the newest caravan, but as we had a dog that`s understandable. Very clean, comfortable and the most well equipped one we`ve ever stayed in. Also the most comfortable caravan bed we`ve ever had.

Jonathan, Madrid, Spain
Date of stay: 15th August 2016
Although the caravan was very clean and maintained well in general there were some things that could have been better. The floor of the shower was quite bad and the higher parts of the caravan were missed with a number of cobwebs on door frames etc.
Other than that we were very happy. The people that greeted us on arrival were very nice and helpful.
Deborah, Biggleswade
Date of stay: 13th August 2016

Date of stay: 8th July 2016
The caravan was very clean and well looked-after, with comfortable furniture and a pleasant outlook over the grounds. The caravans are well spaced out with space for sitting outside to enjoy the peaceful setting.
Malcolm, Telford
Date of stay: 14th May 2016
The site was OK though not as spectacular as some we have been to. There is no resident warden on site so, it's difficult to contact anybody if you have a problem. The caravan was dated to say the least. Though fitted out well (a wooden spoon amongst the Kitchen equipment would be useful so as not to scratch the new nonstick pans). The van was as clean as you expected it to be, the let down of the whole experience was the hot water and shower system. The boiler fitted was incapable of supplying the quantity of hot water required for a shower system that was basically gravity fed. The hot water boiler didn't allow sufficient flow of hot water to enable anybody to take a shower at any time of the day.
Susan, Essex
Date of stay: 2nd May 2016

Date of stay: 29th August 2015
Could not have asked for a better place to stay a nice quiet site and close to everything needed and some great places nearby
Nicholas, Rochester
Date of stay: 28th August 2015
Our caravan was immaculate and had everything we needed. We were impressed by the size of the living area. The kids loved the WiFi access. It was nice having a separate toilet, but there was no wash basin there as well. You had to go into the shower room or kitchen, so it was a little inconvenient in the dark.
Peter, Stockton On Tees
Date of stay: 1st November 2014

Fun Days Out near Norfolk Broads Country Park

about 5 Miles
Bewilderwood is a fun day out for the whole family located in the Wroxham area of Norfolk.  This imaginative adventure park has won awards and we think kids especially will love the characters and the magical tree houses. You can even book your ticket online and beat the queues by visiting their website where you can also view video clips of the park. This place is also the setting for the book 'A Boggle at BeWILDerwood', by local children's author Tom Blofeld.  Parents are not left out either as you're encouraged to take part and play alongside your children.
about 16 Miles
Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park is an amazing 50 acres area of stunning coastal parkland and is packed with family friendly rides and attractions. This park is an excellent choice for families with children of varied ages as there are a number of small rides for the little ones as well as some adrenaline boosting white knuckle rides for teenagers. As well as rides the site hosts some fantastic shows including the ever popular Sea Lion and Parrot encounters. At Halloween, Christmas and Easter other themed shows can also be enjoyed.  The site also has a good range of places to eat and drink whether you are looking to spend a leisurely hour relaxing with a meal or just grab a quick snack.

This fun family day out has been well planned and we think is certainly worth a visit.  New for 2010 is the PrimEvil at Dinosaur Adventure.  Other fun activities include the Dinosaur Trail, Arachnophobia, the Raptor Races and the adventure play area.  The secret animal garden is also popular.  You can play a role in wildlife conservation and sponsor an animal if you wish.  At the moment if you sign up for their newsletter there is a chance to win a family ticket.

Africa Alive is one of Suffolk's largest attractions and one of the most popular in the whole of the UK.  The Africa themed park is very unique and gives visitors the chance to see some amazing creatures in a habitat which is as close to nature as possible. The park can be explored by car and on foot and Hyenas and Giraffes are just some of the animals you will encounter as you make your way around the park. Watch out for the lightning fast Cheetahs and keep your eyes peeled to spot the more reclusive creatures. During a day at Africa Alive there will be plenty of shows and educational talks taking place and if the weather turns then the indoor Adventure Play Ground comes in very handy. The site also has a well stocked Gift Shop and a Discovery Centre.

The National Trust Sheringham Park in Norfolk was designed by Humphry Repton and the book of original designs can still be seen. The park has many attractions including a viewing tower and a gazebo with amazing coastal views, wildlife trails which young children will love and an exhibition barn where visitors can learn the history of the park.

This is a really unique attraction running daily seal watching trips from the middle of March right through to the end of October.  The experienced skippers will lead you out on one of the traditional wooden boats where you will have the chance to see both common and grey seals.  If you love animals then this is one attraction not to be missed! They also do some boat trips combined with guides on dry land such as seal watching combined with a visit to Blakeney Point Nature Reserve, owned by the National Trust.  We think this attraction is excellent value for money as they keep their admission prices low.

This award winning wildlife attraction has much to offer both families and couples looking for a fun and educational day out.  You can discover a whole wild world of animals with over 1000 different animals from around the world. You will probably want to try and spend the whole day here so you don's miss out on anything.  Highlights include the amazing animals presentation, the birds of prey display and the feeding talks, all of which take place at set times of the day.  This attraction is fantastic value for money and highly recommended.  Their latest event is the Snow Leopard Club Naming Auction and there has recently been a baby giraffe born at the zoo.

We love this attraction in Scoulton, Norfolk with a great collection of animals.  Children and adults alike have the chance to get hands on with the animals in the special handling areas.  On rainy days there is always the indoor play area for the little ones and when it's time for a bite to eat the cafe on the farm is open all day selling drinks and snacks.  Hot food is available over lunch times.

if you and your family are interested in nature and wildlife then Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens is the perfect place for a day out. This beautiful area of national parkland is home to a huge range of common and rare birds from sparrows to Red Crowned Cranes and also has a red squirrel enclosure - part of a conservation programme and now home to a family of adorable squirrels. Other activities to enjoy at Pensthorpe include pond dipping and Landrover discovery tours. Pensthorpe also played host to BBC'S Springwatch in 2010.
