Date of stay: 27th April 2018
Could not have asked for a better location to unwind and slowly wander, the coast being uncommercialized was brilliant, plenty of eating places who also accepted our dogs, local shops for odds and ends, brilliant fish and chip shop in village where your order is cooked and not off the warming cabinet, order in advance or enjoy banter in the shop whilst waiting. Only whinge was that machines in car parks did not give change.
Julie, Nottingham
Date of stay: 14th April 2018
we enjoyed the accommadation very much, we almost had everythink we needed except a mat for inside the shower, as the floor was quite slippy when wet, also the decking outside the chalet needs some kind of anti slip on it, as i fell over because it was wet after the rain we had had in the night my mother is 88 years old and if she had fallen well i hate to think what wold have happened.

Date of stay: 3rd November 2017
We stayed in chalet number 49. First thing I have to say is that all aspects of the fixtures and fittings in this chalet were immaculate. Modern and very very cosy. An absolute pleasure. The park itself is very basic with nothing there apart from chalets, a reception and a central grass area- this of course is not a problem as everyone going there to stay is, dare I say, looking for this peaceful setting. The private sandy beach is 5 minutes walk at most away and lovely. A pet and family friendly pub AND cafe are an easy stroll away. The only slight downpoint is that wifi is available but chargeable which in this day and age is a bit naughty I think given other places we have stayed in.
Diane, St Neots

Date of stay: 16th June 2017
Lovely break in a beautifully quiet park. No entertainment on site, but this wasn't what we were after. The beach was a two minute walk and was lovely and sandy. The beach immediately by Rainbows End was dog friendly which was a big plus. The only downside was the poor phone signal and lack of 3g. The wifi was extortionately expensive and so we found ourselves having to drive for about ten minutes (sometimes in the wrong direction) to be able to access the internet and work out where we were going! Couple of nice takeaways close by and the Poachers Pocket did lovely food and was a ten minute walk down the beach. Perfect, value for money, quiet break for two plus a dog. Would definitely consider coming back

Super, comfortable, clean and plenty of equipment in kitchen
Confirmed Guest, Belter
Date of stay: 10th June 2016
The chalet was very comfortable, it's got everything you need apart from a washing machine but who needs that when you're on holiday. I liked the way it faced east so I could eat my breakfast on the deck in the morning. I could just about see the sea if I stood on tiptoes and looked over the grassy bank but I could definitely hear the waves crashing on the beach at night. I marked the cleanliness down slightly as the shower had a bit of mould round the bath and the shower head. Otherwise the place was quite clean and comfortable. Some of the chalets were privately owned and were lovingly looked after, beautiful gardens, etc. however this one was obviously an investment property, let out to visitors and felt slightly 'unloved'.

Date of stay: 16th February 2016
Different chalet this year (49) which was brighter, cleaner and more modern feeling than the one we had use of last year. The location is nice and quiet, in a good situation for visits to Holt, Sheringham, Cromer, Wroxham and onwards to Norwich. It is an ideal place for dog walkers to stay but we don't have one and there was no sign one had been in our chalet, so all was good. Yes, the access road is a bit rough but you just take it nice and slowly in the car. Will be looking to visit again later this year.

Date of stay: 16th November 2015
When we booked this holiday home we did think it may be a little cold due to the closeness to the beach but we were wrong. the facilities, the abundance of blankets which we did not require as the heating was brilliant. the kitchen and bathroom was like home from home.
Very comfortable and we would definatly book here again.

Date of stay: 20th February 2015
Excellent value for money and on the whole very well equipped. Generally it was fairly clean but could do with having a deep clean into the corners to make perfect. The furniture/fittings were generally good but wardrobes, bedside cabinets are wooden frames with canvas covers and sofa was starting to look a little tried.
Neil, Flitwick/bedford

Nice to come back to a warm place after being outdoors on a winters day.

Date of stay: 29th August 2014
Lovely quiet park just by the sea, lots of green space For children to run and flat paths for cycling. Clean beach minutes from chalet and walks on sea defence wall into bacton and Walcott and beyond.
Our chalet was much better than I imagined, microwave, big TV and heating, plenty of space for our things too. Couple of niggles that were pointed out to the staff on departure, leaky bath overflow and mysterious bulb that fell out in the night. We really enjoyed our stay and have recommended to our friends with children.
Lesley, Bacton
Date of stay: 26th July 2014
Some areas of cleaning need a bit more attention but overall good.
Marie
Lovely chalet in a great location, the beach was minutes away and a great pub a short walk
Louise
Lovely chalet, very clean a modern. Very relaxing long weekend.
Hanifa
Lovely quiet place to stay. Plenty to do in the surrounding area. Only downside was the horrendous amount of pot holes on the road leading to the park.
Mark
We had a great time using the chalet as base. We walked the dog in the imediate area inluding the beach which was very close. We visited a few local places like Wroxham Barns and we hired a boat on the Norfolk Broads for a couple of hours from Potter Heigham. Very relaxing week, though weather was unseasonally cold for Easter!
Lynn
Excellent accommodation very quiet need to like walking
Yvonne
Winter holiday. The weather was very cold. The apartment was lovely and warm. The apartment was very well equipped and very comfortable. We had a wonderful time.
Gloria
Excellent location for a quiet weekend away. Plenty of outdoor access for exercising the dog. Although there is direct access to the beach, the recent storms in the area had washed some of the beach away which rendered the beach inaccessible due to a ten foot drop to get onto the beach. Shame about the lack of wifi and mobile signal but not the end of the world.
Mike
A great break in an excellent chalet. Only thing that spoilt it was the unmade approach road which was full of potholes.
Sheila
Unfortunately the bad weather curtailed our getting out and about somewhat the weekend we stayed but location is great by the sea with a sandy beach and nice grassy surroundings for a walk with our dogs. Chalet nice and modern, well equipped and with a comfortable bed. We arrived late and the lady in reception put on heating in chalet so it was warm when we arrived. Village has a good pet friendly pub, and nice café for a full English breakfast. Managed to see seals on the beach at Horsey quite a sight, so would return again in the future.

Fun Days Out near Rainbows End

about 9 Miles
Bewilderwood is a fun day out for the whole family located in the Wroxham area of Norfolk.  This imaginative adventure park has won awards and we think kids especially will love the characters and the magical tree houses. You can even book your ticket online and beat the queues by visiting their website where you can also view video clips of the park. This place is also the setting for the book 'A Boggle at BeWILDerwood', by local children's author Tom Blofeld.  Parents are not left out either as you're encouraged to take part and play alongside your children.
about 13 Miles
The National Trust Sheringham Park in Norfolk was designed by Humphry Repton and the book of original designs can still be seen. The park has many attractions including a viewing tower and a gazebo with amazing coastal views, wildlife trails which young children will love and an exhibition barn where visitors can learn the history of the park.
about 17 Miles
This fun family day out has been well planned and we think is certainly worth a visit.  New for 2010 is the PrimEvil at Dinosaur Adventure.  Other fun activities include the Dinosaur Trail, Arachnophobia, the Raptor Races and the adventure play area.  The secret animal garden is also popular.  You can play a role in wildlife conservation and sponsor an animal if you wish.  At the moment if you sign up for their newsletter there is a chance to win a family ticket.
about 20 Miles
This is a really unique attraction running daily seal watching trips from the middle of March right through to the end of October.  The experienced skippers will lead you out on one of the traditional wooden boats where you will have the chance to see both common and grey seals.  If you love animals then this is one attraction not to be missed! They also do some boat trips combined with guides on dry land such as seal watching combined with a visit to Blakeney Point Nature Reserve, owned by the National Trust.  We think this attraction is excellent value for money as they keep their admission prices low.
about 24 Miles
if you and your family are interested in nature and wildlife then Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens is the perfect place for a day out. This beautiful area of national parkland is home to a huge range of common and rare birds from sparrows to Red Crowned Cranes and also has a red squirrel enclosure - part of a conservation programme and now home to a family of adorable squirrels. Other activities to enjoy at Pensthorpe include pond dipping and Landrover discovery tours. Pensthorpe also played host to BBC'S Springwatch in 2010.
about 26 Miles
Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park is an amazing 50 acres area of stunning coastal parkland and is packed with family friendly rides and attractions. This park is an excellent choice for families with children of varied ages as there are a number of small rides for the little ones as well as some adrenaline boosting white knuckle rides for teenagers. As well as rides the site hosts some fantastic shows including the ever popular Sea Lion and Parrot encounters. At Halloween, Christmas and Easter other themed shows can also be enjoyed.  The site also has a good range of places to eat and drink whether you are looking to spend a leisurely hour relaxing with a meal or just grab a quick snack.
about 30 Miles
We love this attraction in Scoulton, Norfolk with a great collection of animals.  Children and adults alike have the chance to get hands on with the animals in the special handling areas.  On rainy days there is always the indoor play area for the little ones and when it's time for a bite to eat the cafe on the farm is open all day selling drinks and snacks.  Hot food is available over lunch times.
about 31 Miles
Africa Alive is one of Suffolk's largest attractions and one of the most popular in the whole of the UK.  The Africa themed park is very unique and gives visitors the chance to see some amazing creatures in a habitat which is as close to nature as possible. The park can be explored by car and on foot and Hyenas and Giraffes are just some of the animals you will encounter as you make your way around the park. Watch out for the lightning fast Cheetahs and keep your eyes peeled to spot the more reclusive creatures. During a day at Africa Alive there will be plenty of shows and educational talks taking place and if the weather turns then the indoor Adventure Play Ground comes in very handy. The site also has a well stocked Gift Shop and a Discovery Centre.
about 33 Miles
This award winning wildlife attraction has much to offer both families and couples looking for a fun and educational day out.  You can discover a whole wild world of animals with over 1000 different animals from around the world. You will probably want to try and spend the whole day here so you don's miss out on anything.  Highlights include the amazing animals presentation, the birds of prey display and the feeding talks, all of which take place at set times of the day.  This attraction is fantastic value for money and highly recommended.  Their latest event is the Snow Leopard Club Naming Auction and there has recently been a baby giraffe born at the zoo.
