We really enjoyed our stay! The cottage was charming and peaceful, perfect for escaping the busy city. The hot tub was a lovely bonus too. Owners were super helpful without being intrusive, they’ve got it just right!

We had a fantastic stay at this cottage! The place is spotlessly maintained and super well equipped, making it really comfortable. There are plenty of lovely walks right outside, perfect for the doggos. The host was lovely, really friendly and communication was smooth. Meeting the farm animals, especially Penelope the pig, was a real highlight. We’ll definitely return-such great value! Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic week at this cosy cottage from July 15th to 22nd with our two little dachshunds. They loved exploring the village of Thaxted and making friends with other dogs. The place itself is lovely, especially the hot tub - perfect after those scorching days when the water was nice and cool. The hosts were really friendly and welcoming, it was nice to see their dogs being taken out daily. Being close to Stansted’s flight path was actually pretty interesting to watch the planes land. We’d definitely recommend it!

We loved the cosy cottage, perfect for a peaceful escape. The hot tub was a real treat! Just a heads up, there can be night flights from Stanstead. Still, highly recommend!

We had a really lovely stay here! The place was spotless when we arrived and check-in over the phone was smooth. The little gate on the decking was perfect for our dog, so she couldn’t wander off. The location is just right, although having a car is a must to get to nearby shops and attractions. We’re already planning our next visit, so yes, we’d recommend it!

This place is a real gem! Perfectly tucked away for peace but still near shops and stuff. The hot tub is fantastic and the underfloor heating keeps everything cosy. Rob, Sharon and Bonnie are lovely hosts. We’re already planning our next visit-can’t wait to come back for longer!

We just got back from a great four-night stay at this cottage. The owners were really friendly and helpful, but totally respectful of our space, which was nice. The fenced garden was perfect for our dog to run around in freely. The place had everything we needed, including a fully stocked kitchen and a BBQ for one evening. The hot tub was fantastic! We’d definitely come back and already recommend it to friends. Thanks for a lovely trip!

We had a fantastic stay! The house was super comfy and warm, which was perfect given the rainy December weather. The bath was really nice and the shower was spacious too. Being on a flight path didn’t bother us at all-honestly, we barely noticed. Perfect spot for dogs that dislike fireworks since it’s so remote. Lovely converted place, really well done. Thanks a lot!

The location was spot on, with loads of great walks and charming villages like Thaxted nearby. Honestly, we left feeling refreshed and relaxed, which was just what we needed. We had a lovely stay at Goddard's Mead. Rob & Sharon did a fantastic job transforming this historic building and they made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived, along with Bonnie. The place is perfect for relaxing, with everything you could need. Located in a lovely part of Essex, we enjoyed exploring Thaxted and the surrounding villages-so much history and charm in the area. Would definitely recommend!

We had a fantastic weekend here! The place was perfect for what we needed and we’ll definitely be coming back. Our dogs had an absolute blast, especially with the underfloor heating-so cosy! The garden was great for them to run around. Luna even came home with a strained tail from wagging so much, but everyone’s happy! It was brilliant.

It was a beautiful, quiet location with a cafe, play area and a pub no more than a 5 minute drive away. The cabin was lovely and spacious. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We all said that we would look forward to staying again.

Lovely location, very quiet but only a ten minute drive from Tesco should you need anything. Not a huge amount to do or see on the site, but perfect for a quiet break. Family of 7 here (5 children) and the kids loved the accommodation and hot tub. Cambridge and Ely only 30 mins or so away. Wicken Fen is a great place to visit and is only a 20 min drive. Accommodation was very clean. A few minor repair jobs were probably needed (shower bracket loose and one missing Oven Knob) but nothing major.

Shame it was just a set price for set nights? More flexibility would be nice. We travelled up for a weekend wedding from Hampshire and we had to pay for Fri/sat and Sunday stay over??? So bit expensive for two nights needed.

Everything was perfect for us, quiet place between trees with a small pond, with ducks and geese. Good for disconnecting for a few days. We visited some national trust locations in the area, parks, and a close mill. We saw horses close by, rabbits, sheeps and heard so many birds between the trees. Also there was a wedding, but we managed to sleep.

The caravan was spotless hot tub was lovely we went out to ely which was great the country park there was lovely if you have children take them there walk along the river grab some lunch fantastic and the dog loved it as well
