This beautiful setting on the banks of the Gare Loch is just an hour's drive from Glasgow and within easy reach of Loch Lomond and the Highlands and Islands. Surrounded by beautiful deer-filled woods, there are some wonderful walks and stunning views across the lochs and the Firth of Clyde, as well as historical castles and beautiful gardens to explore.

Rosneath Castle Park has lots for children to do with a large adventure playground, zip lines and an indoor soft play area. The Castle Isle bar and restaurant serves tasty pub grub and hosts live music and themed nights - and there are plenty of outdoor activities locally, from quad biking, clay shooting and mountain walking, to cruises, sailing and fishing.

These well-designed caravans are set in the midst of three stunning lochs, so the views are spectacular. Gareloch WF is a contemporary 12 foot-wide caravan with a double bedroom and one twin with additional sleeping for two in the lounge area. It has a spacious wet room and flat screen TV and DVD with Freeview.

The area is steeped in history - the Scottish Braveheart leapt from a cliff to escape the English army at nearby Wallace's Loup and the prison cave of Rob Roy is also nearby. Benmore Botanic Gardens in the beautiful Eachaig Valley is home to flowers and plants from Chile, Japan and Tasmania.

"Rothesay Castle and Inveraray Jail offer fascinating days out."

We loved our stay in Rosneath Castle caravan park.

The only tiny thing we would liked to have known is a little more info about local buses when we arrived as you can't really walk on the roads after leaving the park...

Enjoyed holiday, however, it was a bit disappointing no wifi and also a bit remote, having to travel over an hour every day to access activities.

Excellent caravan. My only gripe was that it is advertised with a DVD player, which it did not have which is a nuisance when you have children and expect one to be there.

It was not because of the refund but problems happen. However the people who promise and deliver were key to make our holiday great. It turned out to be sm excellent trip for my old man. He walked everyday around Rosneath. I would recommend everyone to go there and In trouble there is always Peter - 'our man'.
Thank you Rosneath.

Lovely clean caravan bed comfy and decent duvet and pillows
Beautiful surroundings and well maintained site. Lovely clean caravan. Enough on site to entertain younger children, with lovely welcoming staff.
Lovely location, caravan was immaculate. Well stocked shop, good playpark and soft play for kids. Beautiful scenery and walks.
Been coming to this park for 40 years, just love it, maybe one day we will buy a van again
Stunning views. Caravan was spotless. Two grandchildren adored the park, they even put away their I phones & tablets as asked & enjoyed the walks, soft play area & swing park. Considering the size of the park it was amazingly quiet & peaceful. Will return asap
Very nice site with all you need in a beautiful location
Lovely place to stay
