Rosneath Castle Park is a quiet and peaceful retreat with a beautiful lochside setting near Helensburgh in Argyll on Scotland’s West Coast.

Offering some of the most spectacular scenery Scotland has to offer.

Rosneath is a great base for discovering Loch Lomond, the Trossachs and the Highlands, and is just an hour’s drive from Glasgow.

Trails from Rosneath lead through deer filled woods that overlook lochs and the Firth of Clyde.

The local area is steeped in history, from Wallace’s Loup, where the Scottish Braveheart leapt from a cliff to escape the English army, to the cave and prison of 18th century hero Rob Roy.

Local highlights include Inverary Castle and Gardens, the world’s only sea-going paddle steamer, whisky tours and restaurants serving wonderful seasonal food.

After a day conquering the waters, exploring the surroundings or enjoying the local attractions, you’ll find a tasty meal and drinks served up in the popular bar and bistro, with live entertainment taking place on many evenings.

The static was really roomy and had most things we needed. We did pack extra bin liners just in case and I’d recommend bringing a small knife of your own-those in the static are pretty flimsy, making chopping veggies a bit of a struggle. Still, overall, quite a nice stay!

We loved the caravan, it was really comfortable and well-equipped. Sadly, we didn’t get to try the restaurant since it’s first come, first served and they were full. Instead, we ordered Chinese from the village, which was delicious!

We had such a lovely weekend with the family at the caravan park. The kids loved every minute and the fireworks were a real highlight! We enjoyed the stunning views and friendly atmosphere so much that we've already booked for this Friday. Highly recommended!

Really enjoyed our stay, but we found the lounge lacked enough seating and the duvet was quite small. Would be nice if there were chairs or a table outside on the decking too!

We loved the caravan-bright, spacious and super clean. The modern amenities were great, especially the ensuite in the master bedroom. Definitely coming back soon!

Was away for a weekend with my 2 boys (6 and 3). We had an amazing time. There was loads for the children to do (although mine were happy just wandering around the water and playing on bikes and in play park). They also enjoyed the soft play (very cheap). Staff were lovely and very helpful. Caravan was extremely clean on arrival and also had lots of added extras such as teas coffees etc. Will definitely go back.

Spent three nights at this park. The caravan was immaculate, plenty of room and beds really comfortable. The caravan was spotless and crockery etc in the kitchen was really nice everything that you required was supplied, even egg cups. Really friendly atmosphere, neighbours nice.

My family and I have been numerous times to here and we are never disappointed. The staff are lovely, the views are absolutely beautiful and it's such a relaxing and welcoming place to be. Park is great for the kids too! Overall an amazing place.

Had a great time with family at the caravan, so much so the day we came home we have booked it again for this coming Friday. Kids had a great time! Fireworks display was an added bonus. Great park, lovely people, amazing view! Would recommend.
