Silver Birch Caravan Park
Take a break in this popular corner of Wales and enjoy woodland walks and the lovely sandy beaches at Prestatyn. Silver Birch Caravan Park is set in wonderful landscaped gardens and there's a wealth of things to see and do in Denbighshire - from quaint Welsh villages and the stunning landscapes of Snowdonia National Park, to fascinating landmarks and castles.
There are tons of lovely walks and golf courses close by - Brackenwood is a challenging course that dates back to 1885 and the fairways were used in the 2nd World War to grow vegetables! On site, you've got a games room and a children's play area, the park is right next to a cycle route and you can also enjoy the traditional seaside activities in Rhyl.
Gold 3 is modern caravan that sleeps up to six people. Enjoy dinner al fresco on your private gated verandah with patio furniture, and have comfortable evenings in with a large open plan kitchen, double-glazing, central heating and flat screen TV. Gold 3 has one double bedroom and two twin rooms.
Denbighshire has some great nature reserves - there are wonderful walking trails around the Hilbre Islands and plenty of birds to spot. Prestatyn's four mile long promenade has recently been incorporated into the National Cycle Network and there are three lovely sandy beaches.

Fun Days Out in Denbighshire
Located in Anglesey in the North of Wales this has to be one of our favourite attractions in the area. The maze of ramps, slides and tubes will keep the little ones entertained and allow to them to run off their excess energy. For kids aged 1 to 10 we highly recommend this place.
Situated in the Gwynedd area of Wales this neo-Norman castle is well worth a visit. Full of historic and fascinating objects this Castle will appeal to many. Some of the highlights include the amazing collection of paintings, The Victorian Kitchen, the Servants Rooms, the one ton slate bed made for Queen Victoria and the mock Norman furniture.
This is a popular theme park for kids of all ages where you can follow Dinosaur Trails, play on the adventure playgrounds and on rainy days head for the indoor play den. You will find this attraction in the Tenby area of Mid Wales and we think it's great value for money. If you fancy a snack while you are there then the Dinosaur Restaurant and Picnic Area are on hand.
If you like gardens then this place is sure to appeal. With some of the most rare plants in the country and even in the world your visit will help to protect some of these species. Attractions within the Botanic Garden include a mini farm, discovery centre, adventure zone and bee garden. Located in the Llanarthne area of Mid Wales this place is easily accessible from many of the holiday parks in the area.
Greenwood Forest Park is the premier family fun park in Wales and has lots to offer for adults and children alike. Within the park are amazing Treetop Towers, exciting Jungle Boats and a mysterious Crocodile Maze. Fun activities are plentiful including Archery, Stilt Walking and even the very unusual Den Building activity. New for 2010 is Little Forest Play Barn which is the perfect place for the little ones to run around and is also handy if the weather is not great. Don't miss the amazing shows at the outdoor Forest Theatre which include magic shows, and pirate experiences.
Welsh Mountain Zoo is situated above Colwyn Bay offering stunning views and amazing scenery and is the perfect place for a relaxing day out with the kids. The beautiful gardens are home to many species of animals including some rare and endangered species. This Zoo is very much a conservation programme and educational talks are given regularly. Highlights include Sealions Rock, The Penguin Playtime show and the Chimp Encounter.
Glasfryn Activity Parc is an award winning year round attraction with plenty of facilities to keep the whole family happy. Quad Bikes, Archery, Soft Play and even Wakeboarding can all be enjoyed. The site also has a fantastic farm shop, a café and 10 pin bowing complex.
Rhondda Heritage Park is located at the former Lewis Merthyr Colliery and is a popular attraction with a range of facilities including a visitor centre, an art gallery, a gift shop, and a lovely period re-constructed Village Street. Fully guided tours are available and include multimedia presentations as well as a unique trip underground where visitors will experience the life of a coal miner. The site also boasts a children's play area and an underground experience zone.
