The lodge was lovely and well-equipped, with tasteful decor and practical features. We especially enjoyed the rocking chairs-perfect for relaxing during the rainy days. We did miss our comfy recliners at home, but overall, we’d stay again without hesitation. Lovely place!

We had an amazing week at Stags Lodge! The place was spotless and really cosy. The owners are incredibly friendly and made us feel super welcome. The setting is so peaceful, with deer everywhere - we counted up to 48 one day, which was just incredible. The views are stunning, especially with the surrounding countryside. We loved using the swimming pool, which was kept spotless. We also bought a big 25kg bag of deer food that lasted us the whole week, even with long days out exploring - plenty of lovely spots within an hour’s drive to visit. Everything about our trip was perfect, honestly. Can’t thank the hosts enough for such a lovely stay!

The place is lovely, but it’s a shame there’s no outdoor table with chairs to sit and enjoy your meal outside on the verandah. Would’ve been perfect!

We loved the lodge-had everything we needed for a self-catering trip. It was a bit chilly to sit outside at night, but honestly, it’s ideal for warmer weather. The views and deer sightings really made our stay special. Would definitely return!

We stayed at this lovely lodge with our adult kids and their partners. It’s super well stocked, with essentials like washing up liquid, tea, coffee, sugar and milk sachets waiting for us. The place was warm, cosy and really comfy. We loved it!

We had such a lovely stay at Doe View Lodge! The place was spotlessly clean and super well equipped, honestly one of the best places we've ever been. The views are breathtaking, especially with the deer wandering by and all the local wildlife. We spent most days in the pool, which was basically ours alone-such a treat! The location is perfect for exploring Cannock Chase, visiting Lichfield, or heading to Shugborough Hall and the Staffordshire Wildlife Trust’s Worseley Centre. We loved it so much, we've already booked again for later this year. Can’t wait to go back!

We’ve just been back to Stags View Lodge for the second time and can’t wait to return again in December! It’s perfect if you’re after some peace and quiet. The wild deer wandering around the park are a lovely touch - they’re surprisingly friendly and will sometimes let you feed them. You can buy pellets on site and they love cabbage and lettuce too. Truly a fantastic place to stay!

We had a lovely stay! The lodge was spotlessly clean and really comfortable, with all the essentials we needed. It’s worth mentioning that more cutlery would be handy - we had to keep washing up or run the dishwasher half-empty. Also, the verandah seating felt a bit limited for four, especially with only two chairs. Still, overall, a great spot!

The location is fantastic, but the kitchen could do with more utensils and crockery, especially small plates.

Honestly, this place is absolutely gorgeous. The deer roaming around make it feel so magical, really special. We brought our 10-year-old and 3-year-old and they couldn’t get enough - feeding the deer right out of their hands was a highlight! We stayed in Elderberry, which was perfect-spacious, tidy and had everything we needed. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a pretty good stay overall, though there are a few things that could do with a bit of fixing. The shower unit is quite dated and the door is a tad noisy when it shuts-could do with a bit of an upgrade. Also, clearing out the 'forest aroma' was tricky, so maybe leaving an air freshener in the main bedroom by the wardrobe vent would help. The twin beds are a bit squeezed against the wall, but nothing too terrible. Thanks for the clear COVID guidelines, the kitchen essentials and that incredible view-definitely a lovely spot to relax!

The caravan itself was pretty good, no complaints there. The only thing was parking at Elderberry 1-it's quite a slope, so reversing in at an angle is really the safest way.

We can't control the weather, but luckily we had a mix of sunny days and some rain, which didn’t spoil the fun. We loved watching the deer and taking quick swims right on site, plus exploring the local forest trails was a highlight. There’s plenty to keep busy nearby - Tamworth Castle, adventure farms with maize mazes, steam train rides and a walk around Birches Valley at Cannock Chase Outdoor Centre with loads of activities like GO APE. We even managed a few BBQs - all in all, a pretty great trip!
Ruth
Fantastic Lodge, lovely interior, extremely comfortable, beautiful surroundings. Will be back soon!
Michelle
Had a wonderful peaceful time. Baby deer came with their mother's every morning. Wonderful walks nearby and hired bikes just over the road. This was our third visit and won't be our last.
Christine
Great caravan on a lovely peaceful site, wonderful to see and feed the deer. Would highly recommend.
Sandra
Great site with good facilities. The views are to die for. The cabin was beautiful and catered to our needs. We were looking for a relaxing experience and that's what we got. We enjoyed a good walk through the woods and enjoyed feeding the deers. The site of the deers was just awesome.
Nicholas
We’ve never been to this part of the country but decided to stay here as there was a graduation we was attending in Stoke. We didn’t venture into the holiday park but knew we could use the pool. Having to book with small numbers in at one time sounds like a good idea. Both areas were clean and well maintained. Easy to find. Perfect location
Mary
Recently stayed here for a week in stags view lodge was perfect! Will definitely be back
Cheryl
Stayed in doe Lodge which was exceptional. Overlooking grassland with deer roaming free. Everything you need in lodge. Clean, spacious with all you need in appliances. Rooms good size. Restaurants, shops and pubs nearby.
Emily
An absolute gorgeous setting. Just walk to wall peace from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Loved every single minute.
Trevor
Excellent lodge in a very good setting.
Louise
The holiday park is absolutely stunning. The view we had from the caravan was breath taking was so nice to be located in the woodlands surrounded by deer. We didn't use the facilities on the part but from what we saw it was adequate for retirements. I would definitely recommend this park for peace and quiet and out the way from the main town.
Rachael
This is our 3rd visit to Silver Trees Park, initially booked to see Keane over in The Chase, but rebooked each time due to covid. This trip was no exception, very comfortable van, brilliant view from the lodge, and wonderful surroundings. Couldn't recommend this place enough. We don't use the extra facilities when we go ( pool and tennis) we prefer to take advantage of the wonderful Cannock Chase which is quite literally over the road.
Janice Pauline
this holiday is one of the best you can have. everything is so quiet and peaceful. then you have the deer wondering around the park so it is good money well spent buying a sack of deer feed. it gives you hours of pleasure watching the deer graze. also some of the deer are brave enough to come and take it from your hand. then of course there are rabbits and squirrels to watch too.
Steven
Love Silver Trees. I’ve been going there on and off for years. Lovely quiet park to base a holiday. Plenty to do in Staffordshire with Alton Towers 40 mins a way and the forest nearby with plenty of activities to do. The park is visited by dear that roam freely and you can obtain food to feed them. Will continue to visit when I can
