Visitor Reviews of St Audries Bay

Emma Carter
Date of stay: 23rd March 2025
The beds were super comfy, honestly. The sofas, on the other hand, are a bit on the thin side, so don’t expect to lounge around too long. But everything was spotless and tidy, which was really nice. Overall, a good stay!

We recently upgraded to a newer caravan and were really pleased with it. When a bulb blew, the staff responded immediately and fixed it without any fuss. The team were genuinely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The facilities were spotless and the pool was brilliant-never overcrowded, so we enjoyed daily swims every day. Definitely recommend!

We had a great stay overall. The caravan was spotlessly clean and well-equipped, with everything from a microwave to a fridge and freezer. The bedding was comfy and it stayed warm inside, which was lovely. Just a heads-up, towels needed to be brought along. The outdoor decking was a real highlight-perfect for morning coffee while soaking in the stunning sea view. Two chairs were provided, loved sitting out there first thing!

The caravan was really tidy and comfy, which was great. The single beds are perfect for kids or slimmer folks and the double bed was comfortable. The shower had good pressure and having two toilets was handy. TV signal was a bit patchy, but we managed. Microwave worked fine once we figured it out since there were no instructions. Overall, a pleasant stay!

We really enjoyed our stay! The caravan was spotless and super comfy, with central heating and a cosy fire in the lounge, which was perfect for the cold nights. Parking right outside was handy and the shower was hot and decent. The sea view was a lovely bonus!

Honestly, we were really disappointed. The caravan was freezing and we just couldn’t stay.

The caravan was absolutely filthy when we arrived and the cutlery wasn’t washed. The furniture was falling apart. Also, no beach access was mentioned anywhere!

Date of stay: 18th September 2024
The fridge door was faulty and the central heating was a real pain to get going.
Emma Clarke
Date of stay: 4th September 2024
We really enjoyed our stay. The caravan was spotless and spacious, with gorgeous views of the water and beach. It would’ve been perfect with a freezer, but we managed. The only downside was the damaged steps, which made getting to the beach tricky after the storm.

Date of stay: 14th August 2024
We stayed at the site recently and were glad we could get in early since our caravan hadn’t been used the week before. That said, it was a bit disappointing to find bits of rice and crumbs scattered around, plus rubbish behind the sofa. The plates and glasses were dirty and the bed only had flat sheets that kept slipping off, which was a bit annoying.
Emma Carter
Date of stay: 11th August 2024
The caravan is quite cramped, especially the bathroom.

Date of stay: 7th August 2024
We stayed in this pet-friendly caravan and found it pretty decent overall. It’s a good size and had all the essentials we needed. The location was fantastic, with lovely sea views and quick access to the main facilities. It did feel a bit dated and slightly sticky despite the surface cleaning. There was also a recurring sewage smell in the bathroom that was a bit off-putting. Still, it suited us fine.

Date of stay: 4th August 2024
We stayed in this older caravan, but honestly, it had everything we needed for a comfy break. The beds were already made with clean sheets and matching duvets, which was a nice touch. The place had a spacious double room and a twin, both more than big enough. The bathroom was spotless, with a shower, toilet and washbasin - all in great condition. The lounge was really comfy, with plenty of seating, a decent-sized dining table and a good TV. WiFi was included and worked perfectly. Plus, the view from the caravan was stunning, looking straight out to sea since the site is on a bit of an incline. Lovely stay!

We had a lovely, peaceful stay at this holiday park. The views are truly stunning and our caravan was spotless and well-equipped. The bed was super comfy with fresh linen. Staff were friendly and helpful and the restaurant served good food. We’d definitely come back!

We loved our stay! The caravan had everything we needed for a self-catering trip and the sea views were absolutely stunning. Very clean too!

Date of stay: 17th July 2024
The location is really peaceful, with lovely views over the Bristol Channel. The accommodation was comfortable enough, but don’t expect much in terms of facilities or entertainment. It’s a good base if you enjoy exploring nearby spots and taking day trips.

Nice, simple, exactly what
Mark Turner
Date of stay: 23rd June 2024
The caravan was quite clean overall, but we noticed the kitchen cupboards and floor had some damage at the bottom, probably from a water leak we reported. The site’s small but well maintained though.
Lizzie
Date of stay: 23rd June 2024
We stayed in the Rio Gold caravan and honestly, it was really lovely. The bed was super comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed. The lounge with that big bay window was perfect for relaxing and watching the sea. The en suite toilet in the main bedroom was a nice touch too. Everything felt well thought out and cosy. Definitely would come back!
Emily
Date of stay: 3rd June 2024
Honestly, we were surprised at how lovely and clean the van was, especially since we didn't expect it to be pet friendly! It had a proper bathroom with a toilet, shower and sink, plus a separate loo with hand rails-really handy with an autistic child in tow. The beds were comfy and the place stayed warm through the cooler nights. The kitchen had everything we needed and the lounge’s big TV was a bonus. But the best part? The stunning sea views made it feel like a proper home from home!
Emma Roberts
Date of stay: 26th May 2024
We really enjoyed our stay here. The caravan was spotlessly clean and comfy, even if the sofas looked a bit old-fashioned. The bedroom was quite cosy, but that’s pretty normal for caravans. We did run into a little hiccup with the TV not working at first, but the on-site staff was lovely and sorted us out with a brand new one quickly. The view was absolutely stunning and parking was super easy. Definitely one of our top spots!
Emma Roberts
Date of stay: 8th May 2024
Really disappointed, no direct beach access and parking fees added extra costs!
Martin Green
Date of stay: 1st November 2023
We had a really good time! The spot was peaceful and perfect for relaxing. The caravan was comfy and had everything we needed. We did think a car was necessary, but there’s loads to explore nearby. Facilities were great, saved us from pre-cooking for swimming. Definitely considering booking again - thanks!
