Set within gorgeous peaceful parkland, with beautiful views of the Ayrshire coast and mountains, Turnberry Holiday Park is well situated for exploring the west coast of Scotland. There's loads to see and do - the area boasts numerous golf courses, castles and beaches as well as stunning walks, seaside towns and boat trips.

Enjoy a splash in the indoor heated swimming pool and relax in the sauna and steam room. There's plenty to keep the children occupied - play areas, a football pitch and amusements. The bar also has a restaurant and takeaway plus there's a shop and coffee shop and weekend entertainment for the whole family.

Turnberry Gold 2 is a luxury caravan set within these beautiful surroundings with one double bedroom and one twin. There's a TV and DVD, a well equipped kitchen and a shower room. It's centrally heated and extremely comfortable.

Although this area is a golfer's paradise, it's also steeped in history and it's Burns Country; the Burns National Heritage Park houses the thatched cottage where Scotland's bard grew up.

Our Top Tip
"A ferry trip to the lovely Isle of Arran is a must - and of course, you're not far from Glasgow with its shops, bars and many visitor attractions."

I gave it all 10 but the carpet in the lounge wrea needs replacing. We always wear slippers in the house and do the same in caravans to respect them it would be an idea to get everyone to wear slippers and not shoes as some people do to prolong the life of the carpet.

Absolutely loved the Gold Caravan. It was immaculate and a great location. Would certainly return to a Gold Caravan, a home from home with the fun of being in a caravan.

Had a great weekend - only down side was there was food etc left in fridge/freezer also a bit dusty which when we first entered felt as though we were in wrong caravan but all in all had a great time and would return.

Lovelly secluded holiday park set near the coast. We don’t use the facilities but the staff are friendly and helpfull, the park is well maintained in a peaceful location the nearest town being girvan 4 miles away where there are shops, restaurants, petrol stations, supermarkets and harbour. The area is a delight to explore and many areas are almost traffic free at times.
Sharon
Had balcony but no furniture to sit on.
William
