Just out of the gate at the bottom of the park you’ll come across some marvellous wildlife such as the New Forest ponies, ducks, geese and owls, and if you are lucky you may catch a glimpse of the deer taking a drink at the lake. The park itself has a range of features that will delight, from the cafe and pizzeria to the park shop and a host of exceptional ranger activities. You can hire a bike or have a go on one of the segways, you could try archery or target shooting (*please note some activities are seasonal and may carry an extra charge). There is also a children’s play area and fishing lake (permit required).
