Visitor Reviews of Bude Coastal Resort

James
Date of stay: 19th March 2025
We recently enjoyed a three-night stay at Bude Coastal Resort and honestly, it was fantastic for a quick getaway. The facilities are top-notch and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful-they really made us and our dog feel right at home. The location is spot-on for a stroll to Bude seafront or a short drive to nearby sights. The lodge itself was stunning-modern, spotless, cosy and warm. Definitely recommend and we’re already planning to return soon!

Date of stay: 1st January 2025
We had a really nice stay overall. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, which made a big difference. The place itself is beautifully maintained and very clean - we loved the Sennen 3 lodge with its roof terrace and hot tub, which was spotless apart from a couple of minor things (nothing major!). The utility room was a great addition, super handy. The pool was lovely and the hot tub was kept very well, so we enjoyed relaxing there. The gym’s a bit tired and could definitely do with a refresh, plus the machines weren’t online, so we couldn’t join any classes. WiFi was a bit slow when busy and the roof terrace cushions were soaked due to recent weather - probably understandable, but the storage boxes were left open, so maybe staff could have checked that. Towels could have been more plentiful and a few extra exercise mats wouldn’t go amiss. Also, we ended up cleaning the BBQ ourselves since it was left dirty, which was a bit of a pain. Still, these were just small things and we’d happily return. The place really is lovely!

We stayed at this cosy little cottage and honestly, it had everything we needed for a relaxing break. The place was charming and well-equipped, which was great. One thing we did notice though, is that the hot tub isn’t very private - a few windows overlook it, so it’s not the most discreet spot. It’d be helpful if the descriptions mentioned this, so you know what to expect beforeh and. The onsite restaurant was just as lovely as the photos suggested and the staff were really friendly. However, the menu didn’t quite match the high standards of the accommodation and it was pretty empty most of the time, which made it feel a bit less inviting. Still, overall, a nice stay!

Great stay overall, though it was a bit expensive during New Year!

We had such a lovely stay at this cottage! It’s perfect if you’re after a peaceful, cosy getaway. The place feels really private, tucked away in a sheltered spot on the land. The beds were super comfy and the bedding was top-notch - honestly, like sleeping on a cloud. The hot tub was such a treat, definitely a highlight. Only small thing, it’d be great if there was a side door to get into the tub instead of through the front. Still, we’d come back for sure!

Overall, we had a fantastic stay. The place was lovely, comfy and clean. Just a bit frustrating with the internet cutting out during Netflix. Still, highly recommend!

The main bedroom’s wardrobe space is quite limited, really. We could definitely use a chest of drawers and extra hangers. Also, the cupboard light’s missing.

Third stay here. Always a good holiday. Ideal location for exploring the coast.

Great location (15 minute walk into town- 20-25 mins to beach). Accommodation was super, comfy beds, good shower , everything we needed - whole apartment was warm and cosy.
Nicola
Had a great stay, lovely place, would return.

We had a lovely week. Family of three including a 2yr old. We were provided with stair gates for the little one and keys to lock the windows. Cottage was a perfect size for us. We had to move our daughter in to the front room as the back room was north facing and considerably colder overnight. The swimming pool was fantastic and the little playground was ideal for toddlers. Staff were fantastic. They have a texting service which worked very well in my opinion. We would love to return, but, would hope that the predicted prices drop in line with what we paid.

Lovely accommodation and great holiday. Everything was really clean and well maintained and the staff were brilliant. It is about 2 kilometers down into Bude and to the beach so a bit far to walk with beach gear but there is lots of beach parking. Access to the site is down a single track road which needs resurfacing but other than that it's brilliant and I would love to go back.

This was our first time in Bude and staying at this site made it even better. I would highly recommend this
