We had an excellent time at Clun Valley. We completely relaxed on the veranda reading. Right next to the river, birds, squirrels and bats at night. Did not want to leave. Chestnut lodge was in a great spot. Would definitely visit again.

Lovely break away, we didn’t realise until we got there that this cabin did not have a hot tub - purely my boyfriends fault when he booked as he didn’t filter the option - however lovely place, decor was lovely, location was great. Would recommend. We usually go to Center Parcs so for a short break can’t fault this place.

This lodge is lovely. It's right next to a burn and sitting either on the veranda or inside with the doors open listening to the running water it so nice. It's very clean if a little heavy on the fabric conditioner nicely furnished light and modern.

Excellent lodge, very relaxing and lovely views of the river.

Overall no problems. But disappointed with a couple of aspects. The WiFi was hopeless, until half way through the week. Looks like the previous guests had hit a cap on usage, and it had gone off. There was no dishcloths, and the kettle needed a serious de-scaling. Other than that no problems at all. All nice and warm, clean and fresh.

Great lodge , lovely veranda to sit on and enjoy the sound of the river running by , well equipped and spacious , spotless , really good having a bath with a separate shower , all too often shower is over the bath .Would go again , during our stay no children were on site so it was a really peaceful, relaxing break, enjoying nature ,not for those who want activities
Andrew, Bingley
A really nice, well equipped and spacious lodge with great views from both sides over the river. The bed was comfortable (always a bonus when on holiday). the Wi-Fi was good thanks to the lodge having its own router and Netflix was available via the TV.
