My wife and I booked this holiday last minute as a surprise for our twins. The lady I spoke with at Hoseasons was really helpful as she looked on her system for what was available. We left our house approximately 1/2 hour after booking this holiday. The site was lovely and we all had a great time.
Suzanne
Not a great deal of facilities for family’s. Entertainment very basic quizzes. But if looking for tranquility would definitely recommend but spot lovely standards throughout

Margaret
We had a lovely holiday in November 2017 the caravan was lovely very comfortable clean and warm with all the facilities for a comfortable stay. There was also a welcome pack of tea bags coffee and milk. My only complaint was we had the dog with us and no dogs were allowed in the club house or restaurant. So we walked into the village pub where dogs were welcome . There is a lovely dog walk and beach just up the road from the village. Overall we had a lovely stay
Jean
I took my Mum for a weeks rest bite as she is disabled and wee loved it , we didn't want to go home , so peaceful and tranquil, would have loved to stay another week. Very clean and comfortable , and very hot in caravan which was amazing as my mother is always cold , I would like to stay in the same caravan every time I go back , and plenty carpark space outside caravan.

Fun Days Out near Coldingham Bay Leisure Park

about 7 Miles
With easy access from the A1 this lovely farm just north of Berwick makes a fantastic family day out.  Follow the farm trail and meet an array of friendly farm animals.  Kids will also enjoy the indoor and outdoor play areas, pet barn and tractor circuit.  The admission fee is excellent value and you will get a free bag of food for the animals and a bag of fish food for the trouts in the fish pond. When you want a bite to eat, the licensed restaurant is the place to go with quality home cooking and a charming location in some of the converted farm buildings.

Alnwick Castle and Gardens today are perhaps best known for their roles as Hogwarts in Harry Potter movies but have for many years been a family favourite attraction in Northumberland. The beautiful medieval castle is open to the public and during school holidays and at Christmas and Halloween a range of activities can be enjoyed including Santa's Workshop, a Pumpkin Parade, Spell Making Lessons and Owl and Bird of Prey Flying.
about 39 Miles
Smoo Cave is a popular attraction which can be enjoyed all year round but visitors should wrap up warm during the winter months.  This spectacular limestone sea-cave in Sutherland is the largest in Britain and is simply spectacular. The cave was formed by a burn that runs down into the rear chamber, as well as erosion caused by the sea. Guests can take the path from the car park which runs right through the cave. Boat trips are available in the summer months and are an excellent way to fully appreciate the cave from all angles.
