The only discomfort I had was the mattress, it would have been very comfortable indeed were it not covered in plastic, which made us too hot at night. but this was a minor inconvenience and did not stop us enjoying our stay

Katrina, Watchet Somerset
Date of stay: 6th August 2016
The accommodation was lovely, not what we expected, infact it was better, we were quite happy with it, never stayed in a two storey chalet before, it was like being at home, apart from not enough sofas to sit on, we had to use dining chairs, but that was the only issue, there was plenty of room, we found we only used £10 in electric for the week was good.
Angela, Derby

Date of stay: 24th July 2015
We had a basic caravan so you get what you pay for. It was small but served it's purpose. We had a lovely view over the estuary watching the tide coming in and out.
Tracey, Norfolk
Date of stay: 4th July 2015
chalet could do with perhaps an extra chair as there were 4 adults was a bit tight to sit 3 on sofa
Julian, Portsmouth
Date of stay: 27th June 2015
Needs curtains to pull across glass doors for privacy. Could do with a TV-DVD combi and radiators instead of outdated electric heaters that were inefficient.
Richard

Sarah, Portsmouth
Date of stay: 18th April 2015
The caravan was lovely , large and comfortable, with everything you would need for your holiday. The beds were actually very comfy , having stayed in many caravans that is quite rare!!!!! It was very clean on our arrival . My only gripe with the particular van we stayed in (203) was that you are paying for river views and yes you can definitely see the river but looking out the main window you actually face the carpark and the sports court. We did feel this was misleading , check out the site plan before you book as some of the Otter Super vans face directly towards the river others don't but you still pay premium prices.
Myles, Bridgend, South Wales
Date of stay: 11th April 2015
The caravan was definitely value for money couldn't of wished for anything better with the deal we had.
Darren, Kidderminster
Date of stay: 10th April 2015
Lovely caravan but quite expensive...was expecting heating but just heaters in bedrooms which didn't do a great deal when it dropped cold at night.
Amy, Neath
Date of stay: 7th April 2015
The bar, restraunt had good seating with superb views across the river. Only thing that could be improved was the cavery, veg was over cooked and the meal on the whole was bad quality .
Francesca, Bristol

Accommodation was good value for money and there was alot of space for the kids to run around inside and have their toys out. It was also handy having the 2nd toilet especially with six of us in the caravan

Date of stay: 4th October 2014

Teresa, Chesterfield
Date of stay: 30th August 2014
very good value for money. substantially built, not a lot of car parking space but that was unhelpful visitors that took too much room

We had a very good week. The food was fabulous as were the staff. We spent some time each day in the pool. Children`s entertainment very funny especially the gunging at the end of the week. Overall we had a really great week.

Date of stay: 9th August 2014
Lovely and well equipped just think Could do with some oven trays instead of glass bowls.
Denise
Date of stay: 8th August 2014
Accommodation excellent, views alongside river beautiful, swimming pool ok, bar & restaurant good; play parks ok; majority of entertainment & kids club good. Disappointed no public transport available from park, definitely need your car or taxi unless your able bodied enough to walk a mile to bus stop. Central location for touring. Needs a green area, lacks sufficient space to sit outside.
Maxine, Letchworth Garden City
Date of stay: 2nd August 2014
We have been to Devon Valley three times and thoroughly enjoy our stay. It siteis small and the staff are friendly and helpful at all times. The pool is always clean and warm and again the lifeguards extremely kind and diligent about their jobs. It is always clean at the pool.
The site has a beautiful view of the river separating us from Teignmouth. The site is not rowdy and the only thing you hear in the evening is the laughter of children and families. The nightclub is very quiet and the building obviously designed to keep the noise in so people who do not want to hear the entertainment don't. We have a 14 year old son and there is plenty to keep him entertained. Devon Valley is also well positioned to visit local attractions. We will be going back next year.
Carolyn, Gillingham Dorset
Date of stay: 1st August 2014
Half board was a real bonus. Have been to this park several times.
C, Bristol
Date of stay: 26th July 2014
Lovely smallish site on estuary. Staff were friendly and helpful. Facilities good although we didn't use many of them. Restaurant good. Central base for sightseeing. Beds in accomodation were comfortable but single beds too small for our "leggy" teen. Would definitely visit again.

Word of warning - sat nav sent us down a very tight country lane but there is a much better way in!
Gavin, Stockport
Date of stay: 26th July 2014
great value for money
Carol, Catford London

Melanie, Dunmow
Date of stay: 28th June 2014
Lovely park, and excellent caravan, only negative was there was not enough cooking items. I.e. Needed a roasting tin in addition to the grill pan for smaller items and other dishes for cooking in oven.
Sally, Worthing West Sussex
Date of stay: 13th June 2014
It was lovely break .
Brian, Billingham
Date of stay: 7th June 2014
Brilliant location for a quiet holiday. Access can be a little hair-raising as the road to the park is very narrow and locals are a lot more familiar with the road and drive more than the safe speed limit. Don't let that put you off. The facilities and staff were brilliant; very smooth check in and out and the views were breath-taking.
Rachael, South Wales
Date of stay: 23rd May 2014
The sloop chalet was very nice only problem was the amount of hot water & the electric went very fast. Otherwise it was lovely
Mary, Yeovil
Date of stay: 16th May 2014
