Date of stay: 2nd June 2018
Had to move as we initally had an inappropriately sited caravan right by the gates, not great for letting the kids run around and v noisy from the bar, but relocation was perfect. Caravan although bit tired was perfectly adequate and v clean

Although the cheapest available, a week ended up costing over 700 pounds, more than double of the week before and after because it was half term.

Overall, an amazing holiday. Fantastic accommodation, lots to do on the park which was on the door step of the bustling town. Will definitely be an annual holiday for my family.

Very expensive for the location, you are only able to see a road and other lodges. Ask for Lakeview.

Although the weather was not particularly good we had a lovely family weekend break. patterdale lodge was absolutely great and had two parking spaces at side. The park has a great location on edge of Lake Windermere and a couple of minutes walk from Bowness centre and for lake cruises. Wifi is available but very intermittent reception. Excellent break.

Marked down due to an issue with the water pressure. Man was onsite very quickly to fix but we had to repeat it every morning to ensure warm water.

Date of stay: 22nd September 2017
Great accommodation and clean.

The place was spotless apart from lots of cobwebs on the ceiling.....think this had been forgotten - but apart form that it was exceptional.

The single beds were a little small for an adult - would be good if they could be pushed together is both singles are not needed.
Sharon, Horncastle
Date of stay: 26th August 2017
I would recommend this Park to anyone considering Cumbria for a holiday. There is a lot to do locally but also further a field. We visited Kendall, Penrith and Ambleside all within easy reach of where we stayed.
Siqapheliso, Dagenham
Date of stay: 11th August 2017
Clean and homely.

Date of stay: 7th August 2017
A fabulous holiday, with lots of activities to choose from especially if you love water and walking. The weather wasn't great but we kind of expected that being the Lake District.
Will be returning.
John, Carlisle
Date of stay: 14th July 2017
The mobile home was surrounded by trees with very little sun getting through and when it rained it dripped on the roof
Ian, Chatham

Loved it here, such a peaceful and relaxing break. So nice just to sit by lake Windermere and watch the boating life go by with the mountains in the background. Perfection.

The caravan was well equipped , spacious and clean. The park is immaculately maintained. The location is brilliant just a short stroll to Bowness and the lake. The park staff were very helpful and friendly . Lovely holiday.

We had a baby and a toddler with us, glad to see that the caravans are both warm enough and clean enough to comfortably stay in with small children.
Maxine, Huddersfield

Lovely caravan single bed a bit lumpy though
John, Oldham
Date of stay: 30th January 2017
We found to have no plug for the sink and had to phone and aske the overnight staff so we could wash the dishes. The utensils were thin on the ground. Frying pan had a wobbly handle which was slightly dangerous
Kate
We had an excellent holiday in a perfectly located caravan. We were very impressed with the facilities, both of the caravan and the park as a whole, the location and the staff.
Richard
Fantastic site. 5 mins walk to Bowness town centre, but so peaceful you wouldn't know it. Will definitely return to this site in the future.
Beryl
Perfect location
Kevin
Very enjoyable short break.
Leanne
Had a lovely cottage, very clean and tidy. Staff were very helpful and responded very quickly to a query that I raised
John
The site of the park is brilliantly close to Windamere could nt ask for a better situation. The cabin was very spacious and clean, with all the facilities. Really enjoyed our Easter weekend, would deffo book again..
Robert
We enjoyed a week at Fallbarrow. The caravan was standard but no complaints there. It was all about location and the car never moved. We could walk into Bowness in a couple of minutes or take a longer walk up to Windemere. We had a day in Ambleside using the ferry boats and took the train into Kendall on another day. We bought a guide for 5 local walks and they were all stunning. We were done in at the end of each day but it was a very relaxing week. Recommended.
Neil
This was a second choice because our original holiday was cancelled because of frozen pipes. It was all booked on the day and must admit I was pleasently surprised with the park, great location and bowness is a cracking little place. Knowing what we know now I'd choose a different lodge but the one we had was god enough. Thanks to all the staff
Christine
The Park was very close to Bowness, within walking distance. The Park has a lovely setting right next to the lake. Our caravan was the best we have ever stayed in ,had everything we needed.Very clean and beautifully decorated. The only downside was the weather but there’s not a lot you can do about that.We still found plenty to do with our dog in tow! Loved the Lake District and would definitely stay at Fallbarrow Park again.
George
Beautiful location on Lake Windemere. Lovely facilities and dog friendly. Bar was nice, quiet and sociable. The park was well kept and quiet which is great.
Sharon
Great holiday park, amazing lodge and great to be able to walk into Bowness.
Michelle
Amazing location for Bowness and the lakes less than 5 mins to the shops restaurants and bars. Lovely site as well could not fault. Would recommend to anyone 😀
