Hayling Island

Hampshire » Hayling Island

Hayling Island holiday park has been rated 4 stars by Visit Britain and is also the proud holder of a David Bellamy Award for Conservation. Hayling Island is especially geared towards families and those looking for an active holiday with plenty of fun activities and sports facilities.

Enjoy use of the indoor heated pool and spa bath, sports field, kids clubs and an excellent entertainments programme including live entertainment in the family show bar.  If you like to get out and explore this area is ideal.  Family attractions and the cities of Portsmouth and Chichester are within easy reach.

Accommodation is a selection of comfortable caravans including the Swanmore Caravan which sleeps 6 and is 12ft wide.

The Emsworth is a superior caravan with one double and one twin room as well as heating in the bedrooms. The Chichester is a larger caravan sleeping 8.  For a sense of luxury choose the Winchester.  This is a luxurious 12ft caravan offering flatscreen TV, double glazing and central heating as well as DVD player and CD.  The Winchester caravan will suit larger families as it sleeps 6-8 in three bedrooms.

Jac, Carshalton
Date of stay: 20th May 2019
We are a four-generation family scattered over south England and we get together twice a year at Solent Breezes, hiring adjacent caravans, because it suits every one of us. We do other things throughout the year but this is by far the easiest to manage for 2yrs old to 80yrs old and the most popular family event
Kevin, Paignton
Date of stay: 10th May 2019
Caravan itself was brilliant...I must reiterate there was nothing wrong with caravan we stayed in

Date of stay: 8th September 2017
the carvan was nice but the area was something of a dispointment
the swiming pool was locked all the time
the brekfast in the club was cold and not nice
the road in and out of the camp as 19 road bumbs not good for your car at all
the so called beach was all mud when the tide went out so no swiming in the sea
you aera not aloud to park near the water as you could blocking the view of the
chalets even thow they are over looking were you could park
nearest town was about 20 to 30 min away
the shop on the camp was not very good
Gillian, Bristol

Best Holiday we've had in a while, clean, friendly, amazing view of the Solent and fantastic activities for the children at the kids club, amongst other things they got to handle all sorts of creepy crawlies and learnt magic tricks!

Date of stay: 17th October 2015
Whilst the price of this caravan was a little more than we normally would pay, we were certainly very pleased with it.

It had everything we needed, the central heating was very welcome as the evenings were a little chilly.
Karen, Ayr

Date of stay: 2nd August 2014
Got ants in the lounge area behind sofa on day two. Asked staff in clubhouse who said it was too late no one there...eventually got given a bottle of ant powder to fix ourselves but it basically wrote of using that room as sleeping area so we had to,squeeze into bedrooms. Clubhouse is tired and run down....arcade pitiful as was entertainment. This park is more like a private holiday park with a few holiday makers thrown in. No daytime activities or enjoyment going on that I could see. Absolutely nothing like our warmwell experience with another company at Easter. Food on first night took 45 mins to arrive, on another it took over an hour..and then mine was wrong! The deserts then arrived two at a time...by the time the second lot came out the first two had finished theirs and then same with the third lot of two. Impossible,to sit down and have a family meal together..tired hungry children chomping at the but. We were told it was a particularly busy night...rubbish...it was obviously an ongoing continuing problem as I met another lady who had waited 2 hours a few nights back. She was still waiting for the manager to call her back two days later. We were offer a couple free snacks but decided we didn't want to set foot in the place again. Nor was there any point in complaining as the manager didn't seem particularly bothered.

Enjoyed our stay. Did not use site facilities as travelled out & about every day. Found staff very helpful when information required.

Date of stay: 2nd June 2014
Accommodation was great, had plenty of room.
Amber, Essex
Date of stay: 18th April 2014
Good for a short break, ideal if you have children and want to stay on site as it is remote. A booklet with instructions would have been very helpful.
