We arrived about an hour early after giving a quick call, which was no problem at all. The lodge was spotless and beautifully decorated - it felt really cosy. There was tea, coffee, sugar, some milk and even a bottle of wine waiting for us, which was a lovely touch! The road nearby was only noticeable in complete silence; with the TV, music, or hot tub on, you couldn’t hear it. The mattresses weren’t super comfy for us, but that’s just personal taste. All in all, we had a great stay and already want to come back!

We really enjoyed the peaceful neighbourhood and the convenient location. Parking was a bit tricky because of the pebbly ground and some potholes, but it was manageable. It’s a shame there was no WIFI - streaming and Netflix would’ve been a nice touch. Staff were super friendly and the cottage had everything we needed.
