Date of stay: 24th August 2018
The lodge was ideal and plenty of room for all. The cushions on the sofas could of done with a wash after the hot summer we have had and the pictures could do with a dust if I was to be picky but that would be all.

Would certainly recommend for a family holiday or even a long weekend break, perfect.

Date of stay: 6th November 2017
The Ribby Ruby is very spacious and comfortable. Very well equipped as well. Only gripe was the parking. While not the fault of the park itself, some people thought nothing about parking extra vehicles in your allocated space. Apart from that minor issue, we would definitely stay in one again.
Gillian, Ewingsdale

Cottage was fantastic my only complaint is our cottage was on the corner of the street and I felt we had no privacy in the garden. Always felt everyone driving up and down was looking at us having dinner outside etc. Would gave liked a hedge or fence just to feel a little more private.

We did not actually eat in any of the restaurants on site so cannot comment.

Peter, Liverpool
Date of stay: 9th June 2017
Our accommodation was perfect for our needs. The beds were very comfortable and the living room/kitchen was open plan so was ideal for us to keep an eye on the kids while cooking. I would say that if there was a bbq area then they would be perfect but other than that the accommodation was exactly what we required.
Sue, Warrington
Date of stay: 2nd June 2017
Great cottage but had to walk to the furthest point away from the amenities on the site.

Date of stay: 30th January 2017
Great cottage which was bigger than expected (3 bedroom for 6 adults), cottage had everything we needed. Only downside if that there wasn't enough hot water for the shower when everyone wanted showers in the morning.
Paul, Manchester
Date of stay: 20th January 2017
The cottage was very nice, spacious, clean, tidy and well equipped, actually elicited a 'WOW!' on arrival.

There was ample storage, a nice kitchen, and 2 gorgeous bathrooms.

The only complaint, and sole reason for not receiving 10 across the board, was that the lodge was too hot at night and we both struggled to sleep a bit.

Stayed in the exact same cottage last year(no 91) and it was a little tired then, even worse this time-the red club chair we did not even use(looks dirty even if it is not!!) Back door looked as if it had been kicked in at some point and the cottage just looks in need of a freshen up!!! Love ribby hall and will definitely be back.
Tina, Barnard Castle

Date of stay: 4th January 2016
Booked a diamond cottage, 3 bedroom single storey cottage. Clean, comfortable. Good kitchen facilities. Plenty of space for hanging clothes, main bedroom massive. Nice touch of toiletries in ensuite and items in kitchen- dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, cloths and tea making facilities. Only gripe is that the carpet in the master bedroom had been cleaned just before we arrived, the carpet remained wet for the whole 2 days that were there so if you walked in the bedroom with no shoes on ended up with wet socks!!
Sanne, Holland

lovely location quiet and large cottage, Greater daily by ducks at the front and back of the property. Beautiful place with the lights around the village. The room was very clean but it came with a few cleaning supplies one of which was a hoover which we were unable to put together so we're unable to use it but we did have a brush and dust pan, also lacking a sharp knife for preparing meals. Other than this everything was perfect
Joanne, Swinton
Date of stay: 7th December 2015
Lovely clean comfortable well equipped. Though have to say master bedroom could do with a king size bed it's plenty big enough for one.

The staff were particularly helpful.

There was a small area in the car park where there is NO marked walkway for pedestrians but it is in rather a busy place near to the leisure facilities.

Very enjoyable holiday my grandchildren were well catered for - ages 10 and 7

The cottage itself was lovely but the location on the site was not. Cottages 166-169 all backed onto the housekeeping and maintenance blocks. Sitting in the garden was far from peaceful, people driving to and fro , emptying lorries, general chit chat. had looked forward to sitting in the garden to read.........not relaxing at all!

We requested one of the Poppy cottages with a washer dryer which was helpful but we were located further away from the sports centre than we would have liked. The accommodation was v comfortable.

We very much enjoyed our holiday. The accomodation was immaculate upon arrival. Staff were lovely and even offered us a late check out time as we'd had to visit the doctors with our daughter the previous day & felt we'd lost a little time on the holiday - very thoughtful.

We stayed in a Pine Lodge after upgrading from a Ribby Ruby.

The lodge was gorgeous. It was beautifully clean and welcoming and a fab size for a family of 5. The hot tub was an added bonus too!

The lodge wasn't overlooked, was modern and had all the facilities needed.

Brilliant.

Real comfortable accommodation but probably needs a touchup with paint and the double bed was not the greatest for comfort, but happy with everything else.

Accomodation was great. Comfortable and clean. The surrounding wildlife added to its charm. It would have been helpful to have a few more pieces of Kitchen equipment for those that wanted to cater for themselves.

This is a very popular theme park with three different locations.  The theme park in Warrington contains not only the theme park but also Gullivers Splash Zone and Gullivers Star Studios.  The Solash Zone is a fully heated indoor water play factory fun for all ages which will appeal on rainy days.  Throughout the year there are seasonal events too such as the Halloween and Fireworks event taking place from 23rd to 31st October.  You can book online to save time and secure your tickets during busy periods.  Over 50% of the rides are actually under cover so you don't need to worry about the British weather spoiling the fun.

Here at the Wildlife Oasis you can really get up close to the animals and experience a mix of exotic wildlife and hand son displays.  See butterflies, birds and even bats flying around.  You don't have to plan your visit according to weather either with the tropical hall and butterfly house undercover.  Sunny days are ideal for some of the inhabitants however with the monkeys and Lemurs loving to sunbathe.  The mission of Lakeland's Wildlife Oasis is to engender and foster an interest and appreciation of the natural world which, in our belief underpins wildlife conservation; and, where possible to contribute and encourage contribution to the conservation of wildlife and wild places.  You know that you are helping with this mission if you choose to visit.

This is an amazing Cumbria attraction well known locally as well as nationally for how close you can get to the animals.  Described as the most interactive animal park in Europe it's well worth a visit if you are staying in the area.  Open from April to end October some of the highlights are the tigers, penguins, bears, hippos and rhinos.  At 2pm during certain seasons it's feeding time so don't forget to plan your day around this so you can watch the animals enjoying their feed.  Look out for seasonal events such as Halloween Zoo Boo (free entry for kids in fancy dress) and The Magic of Christmas.

Located in the Milnthorpe area of Cumbria we love this local attraction.  With an eclectic mix of fascinating wildlife and hands on displays this centre is educational as well as fun.  You can wander around at leisure admiring the exhibits which range from chameleons to computers. Some of the most threatened species are kept at the park as part if international breeding programmes.  Check out their website for the latest opening times and admission costs which are great value for money.  There are discounts for pre-booked parties of 12 or more.

St Winefride's Well in Flintshire is described at one of the 7 wonders of Wales and is shrouded in mystery and intrigue. Legend has it that the well first erupted at the spot where Caradog cut off the nuns head with his sword. The shrine was then erected in her memory in the first decade of the sixteenth century and remains one of the holiest places in Wales. The stunning temple and well attract visitors from all over the world. Water can be drawn from the spring basin within the crypt and is thought to be lucky.

Out of all of the Go Ape! courses the one in Cheshire is the most spread out and it takes staff ten minutes to patrol the site on bike - which gives a good indication of the size of this place.  If you're looking for an adventurous and memorable day out then Go Ape is highly recommended.  Trek through the treetops, swing between the trees and enjoy zip wire rides all as part of your experience.  This attraction opens every day from the end of March to end October and is open on weekends in November.  Go Ape Cheshire is closed every Tuesday except school holidays.
