WE HAVE USED A CARAVAN AT WOOLER TWICE PER YEAR FOR THE LAST 6 YEARS FOR GOLFING HOLIDAYS IN THE AREA.LAST YEAR WE ALSO USED IT FOR A SUMMER FAMILY HOLIDAY AND FOUND IT QUIET,CONVENIENT AND IDEAL FOR A BREAK WHERE THE AGE RANGE WAS 8 TO 68.THE BEACHES AROUND BAMBURGH ARE AS GOOD AS ANYTHING IN THE SOUTH AND THE AVALABILITY OF OF GOOD FOOD IN THE AREA IS FAR BETTER.GO INTO A PUB AND YOU ARE TALKING TO THE LOCALS WITHIN MINUTES.WHAT MORE COULD YOU WANT

A lovely size caravan with plenty of room. It was lovely to have a bedroom where there was plenty of room to walk around both sides. The wardrobe was a nice size. I liked the extra touches like towel, tea-towel, washing up liquid and soap, shampoo, etc.

Loved the two bathrooms and the two walk in wardrobes. The lighting was very good too, which is not always the case in lodges. Only complaint the huge heavy' builders' mugs which were the only things available for tea or coffee. Not for the first time in Hoseasons properties, have gone out and bought thinner, lighter mugs. Have put 'mugs' on our holiday list from now on.

PS Re below, no restaurant as such, but the local pub seemed to be linked to the site, so my rating is about that.

OUR Third visit to this sight , 2+1 dog, first class grounds , these people put a lot of time into this park , seen it grow so quick in the last four years yet they keep the standards , well done . went out of season this time so cant comment on facilities.
Michelle
Great time, visited twice now. Shame paid for fishing 20 pounds and no fish in lake. Food ok at pub.
Kathleen
Park ten minutes walk from wooler, best pet friendly caravan we have ever had it was immaculate and not very old, the staff were very helpful and came around shortly after booking in to ask if everything was OK. The park is large but very well kept.and has a lovely river running through it which our dog enjoyed we did not use the club house as dogs are not allowed inside but does have outdoor seating but most of the pubs in wooler allow dogs in
Darren
Great place been coming here for 5 years and love it
Martin
A perfect location for touring Northumberland and the Scottish Borders. For food shopping use Alnwick or Bewick. Heavy rain most of the time . We still enjoyed our holiday. Hope to return.
Pauline
Loved the Lodge couldn't believe how big it was, it was a three bedrooom one the brochure didn't do it justice, when we arrived, we were amazed to see the kitchen area also had a fridge, freezer, washing machine and a dishwasher, and the double bedroom had an en-suite, and so the two twin bed occupants also had a shower room, which meant we weren't waiting to get into the shower rooms. Very quick getting booked in, it was out of season though. The club house was fine, we only popped in for a drink in the afternoon after being out most of the day, and spent the evenings in our Lodge which over looked the river. We stayed on the Wooler site, in Northumberland, and it has good walks, and easy access to the beach.
