We stayed at this place during a rainy December and it was perfect for us. The house is really well kitted out and super cosy - it kept us warm and comfy all day. The bath was just lovely and the big shower was a bonus. Being near a flight path didn’t bother us at all and it’s ideal if your dog hates fireworks since it’s so remote. Thanks a lot for a lovely stay!

We stayed here for a week in July with our two small dogs and honestly, it was a lovely experience. The cottage itself is charming and the hot tub was a real highlight-especially since we hit some of the hottest days of the year, so having a cool dip was just perfect. The hosts were really friendly and made us feel welcome, which was nice. Watching the planes land near Stansted was quite fun too, even if we're on the flight path. Overall, we’d definitely recommend Hide for a relaxing getaway!

We had a fantastic stay! The cottage was spotless and packed with everything we needed. Loved the easy access to dog walks right outside the door - so handy. The host was super friendly, quick to reply and made us feel really welcome. Meeting Penelope the pig was a lovely bonus. We’ll definitely be coming back, such great value!

We had a lovely stay at this place, nestled in such a peaceful, private spot. The owners were genuinely friendly and always ready to help if needed, but it still felt like we had our own space. The hot tub was a real treat after a day out cycling - such a nice touch! A heads up though: the cottage is right under Stansted’s flight path, so there’s quite a bit of aircraft noise. It didn’t bother us much after a while, but it’s worth mentioning if you’re sensitive to noise. Overall, a great find!

We had a fantastic weekend here! The place was just what we needed and we really enjoyed our stay. The garden was perfect for our dogs and they couldn’t get enough of the underfloor heating - Luna especially loved it! She was wagging her tail so much, she ended up with a strained one. Totally worth it though, happy pups and happy us!
