We really enjoyed this cosy little cottage. Perfect spot for us, peaceful and away from the busy crowds. The hot tub was a lovely bonus. Owners were super helpful but never intrusive. They've got it just right!

We had a fantastic weekend here! The place was just what we needed and we’re already planning to return soon. Our dogs had a blast-the underfloor heating was a hit and they loved playing outside in the garden. Luna was wagging her tail so much she strained it, but she’s fine now. Happy pups, happy us!

We’d definitely consider returning to Loch Ryan, though probably not in the same caravan. Would be great if the bar opened more hours for food!

Overall, pretty happy with the experience. The only small thing was the description mentioning a cooker, which could have been clearer as a gas BBQ instead. Had to think a bit about meals for the kids, but otherwise, all good.

We had such a lovely stay! The cottage was super well-kept and had everything we needed. Our dogs loved the nearby walks and it was great to meet the farm animals, especially Penelope the pig. The host was really friendly and made everything easy. Definitely coming back, it’s such good value and a proper little escape!

We found the beds a bit flimsy and really needed some extra reinforcing wood. The place is adorable and cosy, but definitely not suitable for four adults. The toilet and shower are quite small, but everything you need is there - cutlery, crockery. It stayed warm without extra heating and the views from each pitch are stunning!

We stayed here for a week in July with our two tiny dachshunds and they absolutely loved it! The village of Thaxted is charming and our dogs made quite a few friends. The cottage itself is lovely, especially the hot tub which was a real treat, especially since it was sweltering outside. The hosts were super friendly and made us feel right at home. It was nice to see their dogs being taken to the fields every day - such a lovely touch. Being near Stansted’s flight path added some entertainment - watching the planes land was quite fun. We’d definitely recommend it!

The host was lovely and quick to reply and meeting the farm animals, especially Penelope the pig, was a real highlight. Can’t wait to return, such great value!

We had a fantastic time staying here! Sharon and Robert really went above and beyond as hosts, making us feel right at home. The place was spotlessly clean, comfy and perfect for our dog Archie-felt super secure. The location was just right, with loads of lovely walks and charming villages like Thaxted nearby. Definitely a great spot to unwind and recharge our batteries. We’ll be back for sure!

We needed a quick escape for the dog and found this place ideal. Lovely countryside, plenty of off-road walks and nearby pubs. The dog refused to get back in the car afterwards-pretty much says it all!

We had a lovely stay at this cottage, set on a working farm but surprisingly private. The hosts, Robert and Sharon, are genuinely friendly and welcoming. The place itself is really spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen and a comfy bed that we slept like logs. The garden is perfect for dogs, totally private and nicely furnished. There are plenty of walks nearby and Thaxted’s eateries, like The Star and The Maypole, are worth a visit. We’d definitely recommend it!

We spent a week here in July with our two tiny dachshunds and honestly, they loved every minute! The village of Thaxted is charming and the cottage itself is really cosy. The hot tub was a real treat, especially during the scorching weather; it was cooled down just right. The hosts were so friendly and made us feel really welcome. We enjoyed watching the planes land since it’s near Stansted, which added a bit of entertainment. All in all, a lovely stay - we’d definitely recommend Hide to anyone looking for a relaxing break.

We’ve just come back from a fantastic week at Goddards Mead. The cottage had everything we could think of and more. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home instantly. Despite being on a working farm, it’s super peaceful and relaxing. We loved it!

Amazing views and nice modern caravans. Nice base to explore the south west coast.
Allen
Lovely quiet location. Very clean and fresh. Not a lot for kids tho they loved having the swing park close by. Would definitely go back.
Charles
Beautiful place for a quiet weekend .
Jeanette
Being staying in Ryan Bay for many years...there was a great improvement this year.

Park is in a beautiful location, clean and picturesque. It is close to lots of places to visit and shops are nearby. Caravan was lovely, comfortable and clean when we arrived. If there was just one suggestion I would give to the park, is have more bins or bin areas around the park. As I found it difficult to find the bin after picking up after my dog and was using the bin in the lay-by outside of the park gates. Overall though I would highly recommend this park and will definitely be back.
