The caravan was clean but nothing to start the day with. There was not even a tea bag to make some tea. There was no washing up liquid or handwash. There wasn't a night lamp. No bin bag to change. We stay for weekend we can't carry all these. That's all was missing really.

We got a very cheap last minute weekend deal, so some of the drawbacks, such as a mediocre cleanliness and poor tidiness/appearance of the site, can be overlooked. The site pool was very good as was the proximity to the beach. It's a large site and therefore there was some noise disturbance late one night. The caravan was good, although could do with a deeper clean. Overall, for the right price, I would stay again for a short break.

Having read some bad reviews about the Bronze caravans, I was pleasantly surprised by every aspect of the caravan. The only thing that would have improved our stay would be better heating in the bedrooms as we were very cold at night.

Had a lovely time but had to clean the kitchen as it hadn't been done ! Found yogurts in the cupboard dated sell by April 2014 ! The door on the grill kept falling off even though we didn't use it ! The tables were covered in children's yogurty finger prints. Also the doors to the veranda were covered in sticky finger prints. However, the rest of the accommodation was tip top and very comfortable ! Just need to clean it properly !!!!!

We had a quiet four day break, we would have liked a few more things to do around St.Osyth and had to drive out to do this. The site although clean, we didn't like the closeness of the caravans and got fed up with next door peering in on us (we felt like we were in a fish tank) also we had no view just blocked in on all sides with caravans. Our caravan was lovely, very clean and had all the cutlery etc.
Donna
We come at the start of season. So the pool too cold for little ones .That hard for them 🙁 But stay was lovely Cavan was very clean comfortable and club nice too.😀

The Big Adventure rides include the Dragon's Claw, Rage and Vortex.  For younger children there is just as much fun on offer with rides like the Cow Jump, Over the Hill and Dragon. This attraction is currently under construction but we are looking forward to it opening in early 2011.  The philosophy of the Discovery Centre is 'healthy body, healthy mind, healthy planet and aims to change people's attitudes and actions towards our planet.  Educational as well as fun there are plenty of activities such as outdoor sport pitches, cycle and walking trails and indoor activity rooms.  This is a unique attraction for the whole family.

This amazing owl sanctuary located in the Stowmarket area of Suffolk should be high on your list of places to visit in the area.  The attraction is also a registered charity and carries out important work in the care & rehabilitation of owls from the region.  The sanctuary also raises awareness of owl conservation throughout the UK.  Between April and the end of September there are two superb flying displays each day so you should try and make your visit coincide with one of these displays if you can.
about 30 Miles
Wildwood Trust is well worth a visit if you are staying in the local area.  You can experience close encounters with native wildlife - all in a beautiful forest setting.  You will find this attraction between the coastal town of Herne Bay and the ancient city of Canterbury.  There is a wide variety of animals to see including badgers, foxes and otters. Kids will also love the animal encounters sessions, playground and games and quizzes.  Check out their website for the latest admission prices which are excellent value for a family day out in Kent.
