The Isle of Sheppey in the Kent region is a stunning part of the UK to visit for holidays.  Shurland Dale provides an excellent base to explore this area and is especially suited to families.  The holiday park is lively with a fun atmosphere and plenty to keep eveyone entertained.  Just some of the highlights include the indoor pool and the Water Resorts programme.

Kids of all ages will be in their element here with kids clubs to suit all ages. There's the Little Sparks children's club for the under 5s whereas the older ones will love Sparkey's Krew for 5-15s.  The Adventure Playground, sports facilities and games and competitions are sure to impress too.

Dining at Shurland Dale is a pleasure with plenty of options. The Boathouse Tavern together with the cafe and takeaway food bar mean you can choose delicious meals, snacks and drinks at times to suit you and your family.  Dine in, or takeaway to enjoy in the comfort of your mobile home.  For entertainment the Visiting Cabaret is fantastic.

Accommodation is a wide range of comfortable caravans to suit the size of your family - and your budget.  All of the caravans at Shurland Dale provide excellent value for money but we love the Shurland Bronze caravans as a budget friendly option. For a more luxurious base, opt for the Shurland Dale Gold Plus models which offer 12ft wide living interiors and top of the range fittings.

Our Top Tip
"For great days out in the local area try Adventure Island in Southend on Sea or Howletts Zoo in Canterbury - both an easy drive away from Shurland Dale park."

The huge indoor site is ideal for children under 12 and offers a huge 3 level play structure, a triple storey wave slide, bouncy trampolines, a large padded sports area for football and other games as well as a dedicated  Babies and toddlers soft play areas. While the kids are running wild adults can relax in the comfy seating area and enjoy a tasty meal or snack.

The centre for wildlife offers a good range of animal themed family friendly activities with most going on at weekends and during school holidays. Animal talks and feeds are popular and other activities may include learning to speak wolf, or meeting a beautiful Owl. Crafting activities are also on offer and give children the chance to make a souvenir to take home.

Brockhill Country Park

Brockhill Country Park once formed part of a large estate dating right back to Norman times. Today the old manor house is part of Brockhill School but the grounds are still open to the public and are a popular place to enjoy a picnic on a summer day. Shurland Dale Reviews

When i booked 2 caravans i didnt go online because i would like to make it sure that the 2 caravans will be near to each other. So i phoned them and asked them if its possible to put us near. I was assured that the my request will be taken into consideration only to find out that it is impossible to do it as what the staff told us in the reception. If they told me that it is an impossible request then i didnt go through with my booking.Added to that was the rudeness of the guy in the reception is unbelievable. I will never ever comeback to this place ever. The facilities are a disappoinment. The arcade the indoor swimming pool are no where near from any other caravan site ive been thru. For fairness sake the only saving grace is the cleanliness. Thats all.
