Great location to the beach, plenty of other things to do around.

The only down side for me was kids were allowed to play ball in the green area in the middle and I did have a young boy kick a ball into my head causing concussion. But he he did kick it from between the caravan towards the pitch.

Glad I took a fleece blanket for extra cosiness and also pleased that use of the gas fire included. Expected this in September - cold nights and pleasant days.
R, Nottinghamshire
Date of stay: 19th September 2015
Caravan very clean and tidy. Pretty much every comfort you need. Downside, shower very small and no bath mat to stand on. Might have been nice to have the beds made up too. Would only just do (size wise) for four adults but 2 adults, 2 children not so bad. But overall pleasant caravan.
Dawn, Ashford, Kent
Date of stay: 28th August 2015
Nice site, although very boggy due to the amount of rain, parking was the only real issue, so as a thought, may be worth putting slabs between caravans to enable parking in the wet weather. Overall though a great holiday. Thanks.
Jenny, Somerset
Date of stay: 15th August 2015
Was worried about booking a budget caravan but pleased with the pipit. Caravan number 1 was ours for the week. Looks really small but accommodated us a family of 5 well. Ours was new for 2015. The caravan was cleaned to a very high standard. Would of preferred the beds made up for us on arrival as when you get in your caravan the last thing you want to do is make beds!
Donna, Hyde,cheshire
Date of stay: 15th August 2015
clean modern the only thing was there wasn't much free space around the caravan.
Victoria, Bolton
Date of stay: 8th August 2015
The Pipit is a small caravan but well laid out. Shower was great, full size cooker, always a bonus. The only issue we found was there are NO hooks to hang towels in the bathroom or bedroom nor anywhere else to put them
Chloe, Kent
Date of stay: 8th August 2015
Couldn't fault it - warm, clean and comfortable
Kathryn, Leeds
Date of stay: 25th July 2015
It was comfortable and had all the equipment we needed.
Mary
Date of stay: 10th April 2015
The whole van was very clean apart from the shower which had a horrid small coming from it.
Paul, Leighton Buzzard
Date of stay: 10th April 2015
brand new caravan, could not fault it. Expected to get an old caravan as we had a dog, I was very surprised.
Julie, Tadley

Date of stay: 11th October 2014
The caravan was lovely and clean, everything we needed was in the caravan and it was cozy perfect for us.
Peter, Tamworth
Date of stay: 6th September 2014
Nice relaxing small park park, no noisy bingo, clubs or arcades (BLISS) but there is plenty of space for the children to play safe, we returned home after a week nice and refreshed and are looking forward to our next visit.
If you are looking for more entertainment the village is just a five minute walk away and your on the beautiful beach
Diane, High Wycombe
Date of stay: 5th September 2014
This is the second time that we have stayed at Surf Bay it is a lovely park. It is quiet and peaceful near to The Beach and local facilities , however my grandchildren like it because of the playing field they play outside and make friends and they are within our sight. The caravan was very clean and the welcome pack was welcome. The staff were very helpful and friendly and we would recommend the site to others.
Kevin
Date of stay: 5th September 2014
SMALL AND FRIENDLY. EASY TRAVELLING TO LOADS OF PLACES.
Emma, Lancashire
Date of stay: 23rd August 2014
A very good site with clean and comfortable caravans in a good location to walk into the local town but also a good base to explore the local area by car. Would defiantly go again
Nicola, Dukinfield
Date of stay: 16th August 2014
Everything was perfect!!
David, Preston
Date of stay: 9th August 2014
The caravan was fine, great standard. But there was excessive noise after10:30. but it could have been the people on the site with very young children. Caravans positioned around football pitch layout could have been better.
Michelle, Aldershot
Date of stay: 9th August 2014
A lovely site, fairly quitet and right by the beach perfect for a peaceful family holiday and learning to surf and bodyboard. If you want on site entertainment this is not the right place for you
Jayne, Bury St Edmunds
Date of stay: 9th August 2014

Jane, Cheshire
Date of stay: 2nd August 2014
Lovely caravan site. Very clean caravan. 5/10 minutes walk to village and beach. Great holiday! I can understand why people come back here year after year.
Rosemary, Stratford On Avon
Date of stay: 18th July 2014
The park was lovely and quiet, which was what we wanted. The caravan was extremely clean, new this year and well equipped with everything you need - only additional thing I would have liked were mattress protectors on the beds. We were even given a welcome pack with sponges, washing up liquid etc, which was a nice touch. Check in was easy and the people we dealt with were helpful. The park has no facilities apart from a laundry room, so ideal for a quiet holiday but not if you want lots to do on site. It was well positioned to tour north Devon and Cornwall. There was a fish and chip takeaway van a couple of nights a week and a Thai also and the food from both was lovely. We really enjoyed our stay and wouldnt hesitate to return if visiting the area again.
Senga, Glasgow
Date of stay: 12th July 2014
Caravan was a bit older as we had the family pet. Was a little cramped with 4 adults and one child. Overall it was good the weather was fine so we weren't stuck in a caravan in the rain for days.
Lesley, Dunstable
Date of stay: 28th June 2014
Lacked cupboard & wardrobe space if you had 6 people.
Dark main bedroom due to backing directly on to a trees and fence.
Karen, Dorset
Date of stay: 28th June 2014
caravan had every thing that we needed, park was very peaceful, the only sound you could here was the birds, sitting outside in the evening with a glass of wine was heaven, very clean and well maintained grounds, no litter or rubbish, short walk into the town, places to eat, some small shops and great views and sunsets
Tracey, Porth
Date of stay: 23rd June 2014
Can't wait to go back, fabulous place.
En, Rochdale
Date of stay: 14th June 2014
excellent site for a quiet holiday base to explore North Devon. Very clean, comfortable and peaceful. (nb. this was outside childrens' holiday periods).
Claire, Worcester
Date of stay: 31st May 2014
This is the fifth year on the trot that we have been to this park !! We absolutely love the park & North Devon as a whole . It was a brand new caravan this year & it was excellent value for money . We are already hoping to go again next year !!
Lisa
Date of stay: 21st April 2014
We would definitely visit again , our stay in the caravan was cosy, spacious and clean.
Dylan, Plymouth
Date of stay: 18th April 2014
We had a very pleasant week at Surf Bay, made even better by the fantastic weather during our stay. Although the site had very little in the way of facilities, this did not bother us at all as we had deliberately chosen a quiet site for our family break. Beach and shops are within easy walking distance and we would definitely stay here again.
Cheryl
Lovely holiday, and lovely caravan. Perfect location right next to the beach and bars/restaurants. Took our dog and everywhere was very welcoming
Anna
Lovely site for a quiet holiday! our 2 bed pipit was great it was very clean and had lovely modern decor. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment and the shower was a really good size for a caravan! It could do with grasscrete between vans for parking but to be fair it was particularly wet during our stay and the site was very well maintained over all. It's a short walk to a beautiful beach and there is a good sized grassy area with picnic tables on the site. It was also only a short drive to lots of good activities and days out for our toddler and then home at the end of the day to a peaceful site! Lovely mid week break thank you!
Keith
The hoilday park was nice but it could do with a shop on site
Gemma
Beautiful caravan and the staff were very helpful and welcoming. I would definitely stay again. Only slight down side was parking. As there had been a lot of rain parking on the grass wasn’t possible so parking was sometimes difficult but this wasn’t a major issue and wouldn’t be a problem at all when the ground is dry.
Julie
We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at our caravan. It was very modern and spotlessly clean. We enjoyed three nights of peace and quiet and were very comfortable. We stayed in a popit caravan which was perfect for two of us and such good value.
Rebecca
Beautiful location and caravan. Very quiet as it was out of season. Lovely break away. Would recomend
CAROL
