It's a pleasant place to stay if you are exploring deepest darkest Kent. The accommodation is pretty good and the addition of the verandah decking is a nice touch

I believe that it is going to go through some extensive modernisation which would be great as the on site shop isn't really adequate given the size of the holiday park

The Ash caravan has three bedrooms but with the two bed version the main bedroom is far roomier as they have the same footprint

Other than that i would recommend two chimneys as a holiday destination

The caravan was clean and well equipped although showing some signs of age. Each of the mattresses were lumpy with springs obviously budget versions or aged.

Lovely clean & spacious caravan where we had a comfortable weeks stay with our 8 month old! Excellent base for discovering the north kent coast. See you again soon Two Chimneys !

Date of stay: 19th July 2014
Stayed here several years and great holiday as always. Shame they have got rid of the hot tub, and pool shuts very early... 5pm some nights and not open to general park until 10am. Not sure how the 9 hole golf course is going to add to the park if it is ever ready... been 'coming soon' since our last holiday here 3 years ago and it still looks a long way off completion. A better stocked shop or a takeaway open in the evenings would probably add more to the park than a golf course. Never the less- a great park right in the centre of Thanet with lots of blue flag beaches a stones throw away.

My only criticicsm was the double bed which was of poor quality. The mattress springs could be felt when laid and not comfortable. Also mattress was way too soft

Date of stay: 11th April 2014
Stayed for four days mid week break. We found the site and all amenities to be very clean and tidy. Staff were very welcoming on arrival and even opened the closed shop for us to purchase essential food supplies we had forgotten to bring with us.

Our caravan was extremely clean and tidy, warm and comfortable. The only complaint we have is the toaster is too small and the grill on the oven was inefective so we could not have toast in the morning. The location is fine although a little isolated if you want to walk as the roads are very narrow with no footpaths. On the whole we enjoyed our stay and would visit again
Kim
Loved it! Perfect chill for usually very busy Mum and Nan Great opportunity to spend quality time with children and grandchildren away from the normal stresses and pressures of life!
Nichola
This is a lovely site. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Great location with lots to do just a short drive away.
Mitch
did not use pool club shop or play areas so cannot rate had what we went for a quite base to view area
David
Me and my family had lovely holiday and we want to come again in October
ANNETTE
Nice site clean caravan but was struggling to gain entry to caravan as the steps were very high and as a 5ft person could not get up steps without help. Never had this problem anywhere else .

Wildwood Trust is well worth a visit if you are staying in the local area.  You can experience close encounters with native wildlife - all in a beautiful forest setting.  You will find this attraction between the coastal town of Herne Bay and the ancient city of Canterbury.  There is a wide variety of animals to see including badgers, foxes and otters. Kids will also love the animal encounters sessions, playground and games and quizzes.  Check out their website for the latest admission prices which are excellent value for a family day out in Kent.

Brockhill Country Park once formed part of a large estate dating right back to Norman times. Today the old manor house is part of Brockhill School but the grounds are still open to the public and are a popular place to enjoy a picnic on a summer day. The park is abundant with wildlife including butterflies and birds.

Port Lympne - The Aspinall Wild Animal Experience in nearby Kent is one of the regions most popular attractions and should be top of your list if you have animal lovers in the family. The site is home to over 500 rare and endangered animals from all around the world including the beautiful Siberian Tigers and the largest breeding herd of Black Rhino outside of Africa. The park was set up to protect endangered species and while enjoying the experience visitors can learn about the dangers the animals face in the wild and the reasons for their decline. The centre aims to return animals to the wild wherever possible and the enclosures are designed closely match the animals natural habitat.

Great Kent attraction and actually the biggest play centre in Kent.  From babies right through to toddlers and juniors there is something to suit all ages.  For roddlers the under 5s play frame has a host of activities including a tube slide, ball pool and funny mirrors. Juniors will be attractoed to the Imagine Village where they can drive little cars on the specially designed roadway. If you live locally this is also a great place to meet people and make new friends.
about 29 Miles
Adventure Island costs nothing to enter and there is an array of rides and attractions on offer. The Big Adventure rides include the Dragon's Claw, Rage and Vortex.  For younger children there is just as much fun on offer with rides like the Cow Jump, Over the Hill and Dragon. Mini Rides include the Choo Choo Train, Crooked House and Flying Jumbos.  When you have ran out of energy you could have a wander round the gift shop and perhaps buy a souvenir of your day.
