Good value, comfy and easy to tow.
Emma, Dumbarton
Date of stay: 31st July 2020
We enjoyed a laid-back week at this park-nice and quiet, perfect for kids to play safely. Not sure what it’s usually like since everything was closed due to the coronavirus, but it was still lovely.
Emma, Isle Of Lewis
Date of stay: 31st January 2020
We travelled all the way from the Isle of Lewis to stay here, searching for a comfy base. The caravan was really lovely-warm, cosy and perfect for us. Our dog was well happy and even with the bad weather, we managed a few walks. Nice spot!

We had a lovely time, everyone was so welcoming and the entertainment was fantastic! We’ll return soon.

Absolutely loved every moment here.
Emma, Nuneaton
Date of stay: 10th August 2019
We had an absolutely lovely holiday and definitely plan to come back. The only thing that could be improved is cleaning the carpet, since we have a dog that sheds a lot. A vacuum would make things much easier than a brush.
Emma Carter, Perthshire
Date of stay: 27th July 2019
We had a decent stay overall and it's likely we'd come back if we picked a different caravan next time. A few things would make it better, like having a clock and a place to hang coats. The onsite laundrette is handy, but honestly, a washer/dryer in the caravan would be a game-changer. It's a peaceful, tidy spot with decent facilities for kids and perfect for exploring around by car. Would be interesting to see how it feels in winter though!

Date of stay: 22nd April 2019
The park's really nice, super easy to get to and kept tidy. Some staff and facilities could be better, but with a bit of effort, it’s got potential.

Date of stay: 10th November 2014
The accommodation was excellent for the price we paid! Just a few niggles - the grill tray didn’t fit in the oven, there was no freezer and we forgot to bring salt and pepper (totally our fault, but little things like that really help).
Paul, Fife, Scotland
Date of stay: 24th October 2014
The caravans at Viewfield Manor are really up to scratch and super comfy. We were quite impressed! They’ve clearly put a lot of thought into the quality here.
Claire, Motherwell
Date of stay: 29th September 2014
The caravan itself was really spacious and comfy. We had a great time during our stay! The layout was perfect for relaxing and hanging out. Definitely would recommend this spot to others looking for a nice getaway. Would return again for sure!
Hannah, Fife
Date of stay: 22nd September 2014
This holiday park was spot on for what we needed, the caravan was really nice, even though we marked it down a bit on comfort because the mattress could do with an update. All in all, we had a great break! It was only a fairly short drive to stunning beaches and lots of historical attractions.
Simon
Date of stay: 25th August 2014
It's definitely a bit of a rough council estate, or should I say caravan park! The caravan itself was great and the staff were really good too.
Clara, Nottingham
Date of stay: 26th July 2014
A great little caravan park with really helpful staff! Our only bug bear was the diry nappy that stayed poolside for three days. We daren't look after that.
Sarah, Ayr
Date of stay: 17th March 2014
We ended up staying here for two weeks and the staff were just excellent and really helpful. The caravan was lovely, spacious and clean, with good cooking facilities and everything you could possibly need for a pleasant stay. We would definitely recommend it to others!
Gareth, Lincoln
Date of stay: 1st December 2013
We found this site to be really good, offering great value for money! Just a small note, it would have been helpful to have instructions for the heating, cooker and microwave in the caravan. We did have a bit of trouble with the gas boiler, but the site staff sorted it out really quickly.
Emma
Date of stay: 22nd November 2013
We had a great wee holiday in the caravan! It was lovely, snug and warm and we really loved how spacious it was. Plus, it was close to Irvine and all the shops. Perfect for a relaxing getaway!
Emma Roberts, Gb
We had a lovely stay at this well-kept site nestled in the countryside. The staff were genuinely friendly and made us feel really welcome from the moment we arrived. Our caravan was a spacious 3-bedroom pet-friendly unit and I must say, the beds were super comfy and all made up when we got there-such a nice touch! The van was heated with full gas central heating, which kept us cosy and there was plenty of hot water with towels provided, along with a tea towel and oven glove-thoughtful extras. We didn’t bother with the pool or gym, so I can’t comment on those, but the caravan itself was of surprisingly good quality, especially considering it’s pet-friendly. It’s a shame that restrictions meant we couldn’t enjoy background music or pool tables, but that’s understandable. The nearby town of Kilwinning is pretty forgettable, mainly just for quick shopping and the traffic noise from the busy road behind was a bit noticeable, especially on the second last row. Still, we enjoyed our stay overall!
Emma, Yarm North Yorkshire
Really enjoyed our visit, despite the lockdown restrictions. It’s a perfect spot for day trips, definitely going back!
Alex, Gb
Great space and comfy beds!
Emma, Chesterfield
Great site, definitely recommend to friends and family.
Clara Middleton, Wigan
Overall, we had a decent stay. The bathroom floor being wet was a bit annoying, especially since there was nothing to dry it with. Probably a Covid thing, as they removed a lot of essentials like mops and cushions. Still, the caravan was comfortable enough for us.
Jennifer
I would recommend the park to other people and my family are hoping to go back in a couple of years
Lyndsay
Absolutely fantastic!! Caravan, park, staff, all amazing. Looking to re-book for end of the summer
Julie
great caravan, perfectly located near reception. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great facilities and entertainment especially out of season A few problems with our van but staff on hand straight away to resolve
K
Was a fab couple of days , nephews enjoyed themselves & so did the dog .
Claire
Lovely caravan park, small and friendly. Everything you need on site- bar, restaurant, swimming pool with sauna, launderette, shop, family room and amusements . Can't fault anything. Staff very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. Everything very clean and site well kept. Caravan was spotless and so warm. My little dog was very happy also, lovely walk around the site but so close to the coast and Irvine Bay was beautiful. Had a lovely stay. Close to the train station and caught the train to Glasgow twice. Very easy travel, good service and free parking. Would definitely recommend and love to visit in the summer.
Kay
Lovely clean caravan with nice views. Quiet site which suited us. Within easy reach of places to visit by car.
Henry
Great holiday lovely park plenty to do on park.
Malcolm
Nice site, lots to do in the area and good facilities on site and locally
