Amazing holiday, perfect location, can’t wait to go back

A lovely well equipped lodge in a perfect peaceful location.The spot is lovely - you feel you are in a secluded remote area; yet you are able to easily access the rest of Anglesey and go back across the bridge to see the sights of Snowdonia etcThe hosts were friendly, easily contacted and helpful.We will hopefully be back soon!

Stayed in Cadnant Lodge for a week. Good welcome pack with tea, coffee etc and a bottle of wine and nibbles with a handwritten note from our hosts (nice touch). Our hosts were very accessible and friendly.Everything we needed to start our holiday without fuss, washing up liquid, tea towels shampoo etc was provided.We stayed in dog friendly accommodation with our 2 small dogs and there was no evidence of previous doggy guests. The accommodation was very comfortable.The view over the lake from the lodge was superb and we were lucky enough see a kingfisher and a glimpsed a red squirrel running behind the lodge.The setting was lovely and peaceful (well, maybe not the geese lol). The weather was warm and the sitting area overlooking the well spaced out lodges was great. The grounds are extremely well maintained.Although you feel away from it all, you aren't and it's very handy for nearby attractions being just outside Menai and a short drive to Beaumaris and Benllech.All in all a great holiday!

Stunning lodge at the far end of 3 lakes, stunning view, quiet & secluded with loads of wildlife on your door step. Plenty to do nearby. Never disappointed when we visit that's why we have been back year after year. The hot tub is an added bonus as well. Spotlessly clean with lovely hosts just a phone call away.

Keep returning here it is just the place if you want to unwind in beautiful natural setting

Beautiful place, totally outstanding, the lodge was absolutely stunning, little jetty on the lake, full of fish and wildlife including cranes, very relaxing and peaceful, the finishing touches fine in detail, you just couldn’t ask for anything more, excellent sized bedrooms even bedrooms very spacious , outside areas very pristine, lovely gestures bottle prosseco and nibbles, highly recommend for tranquility peace and back to nature ??????

A week in paradise. All furniture is extremely comfortable - the lodge is well equipped. The location is picturesque and peaceful.Tracey (the owner) cannot do enough for you and keeps you well informed of any speed restrictions on the island.

Fantastic break away, we’ve been many of times and the cabin is always spotless. Area is very peaceful and close to nearby pubs where you can eat or watch sports. Lovely walks not that far away.

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely cottage. It’s perfectly situated for peace and quiet but still close enough to shops and local attractions. The hot tub and underfloor heating made everything super comfy. Rob, Sharon and Bonnie were genuinely friendly. Can’t wait to return soon!

A super lodge with gorgeous lakeside views along with Snowdon in the distance.Ducks visiting daily and a heron fishing on the waters edge Peaceful and relaxing and the icing on the cake … the hot tub and roll top bath with views as well as waking up in the morning to the views over the lake from our bedroom window

Great lodge, so well kitted out and very spacious. The owners were fab, loads of little touches. A lovely place to stay.

Lovely spacious comfortable cabin. Lovely welcoming pack (extra with robes, chocolates, flowers and champagne).Hot tub maintenance staff come round twice per week and are very friendly. They service lots of local sites and are impressed with this one as they contract for support and services above and beyond the basic minimum toensure the hot tubs are in prime condition.Only slight downside is some of the decking on the verandah is reaching the end of its life and could do with replacing soon, but still perfectly functional.

A wonderful and relaxing break in amazing surroundings. So many wonderful places to visit, both in Anglesey and across North Wales.

We had a lovely stay in Bodafan Lodge, gorgeous lake and great location. We loved Anglesey and will definitely be coming back! We didn't have any communication from the owner so had to figure things out a little bit, but everything in the lodge was easy to find or operate. I would suggest a welcome booklet would be a good idea, and the lodge could do with a deep clean.

All I can say is Absolutely Fantastic We will be back at Lakeside retreat 100%. Loved every minute of it. Thank you so much

We loved the peaceful vibe and beautiful surroundings, perfect for nature fans. The lodge was comfy, just a bit worn in spots, but overall really nice and close to everything we needed. Definitely recommend for a relaxing break!

First time staying in Bodafon Lodge and definitely won’t be the last In a perfect location on the lake - it’s a very homely lodge with everything you could possibly need for your stay It was perfect for the 2 of us and Dora the dog ????

We stayed at Bodafon Lodge for the first time and honestly, we’re already planning to come back! The spot right by the lake is just stunning. It’s so cosy and well-equipped - honestly, it felt like a home away from home. Perfect for us and our dog, Dora. We loved it!

Lovely location and beautiful setting, comfy bed and lovely welcome hamper. Although the lodge was very dusty and just didn’t feel clean. Can tell quick cleans just take place rather than a deep clean, I moved a TV off the draws as my little boy was sleeping next to the draws in a travel cot and there was a big layer of dust behind it. Cobwebs and dust all over Ceilings/ledges. Suspicious brown stains on both towels provided. Stains on bedding. Bin in the bathroom not emptied. Stains on all rugs, assuming because it’s a dog friendly lodge it’s because of this? I had to go and buy a blanket so my baby could lie on the rug. We had a few ants crawl on us on the sofa. Hot tub said the filter was overdue a change by 14 days. Such a beautiful setting and property but just needs a really good deep clean.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The lodge’s peaceful setting was perfect for relaxing and the bed was super comfy. Olwen was so friendly and attentive, making everything feel really special. Definitely recommend!

This was our first stay in Menai lodge and our 3rd visit to Lakeside Lodges.The lodge was of an excellent standard , immaculate, well heated and the views from the lounge of the lake and countryside were stunning .We used the hot tub daily and found it very private as it was situated at the back of the lodge with lovely views.It was lovely to chill in it and watch the sunset.Olwen , the owner was very helpful and welcoming.We will definately return

Our first time at Menai Lodge, but we’ve stayed at Lakeside Lodges a few times now. Honestly, the place is spot on - super clean, warm and the views from the lounge are just breathtaking, especially looking out over the lake and countryside. We made good use of the hot tub every day; it’s perfectly tucked away at the back for privacy and watching the sunset from there was a proper treat. Olwen was really friendly and helpful too. We’re already planning to come back!

We stayed in Annog lodge. So quiet and peaceful. Saw geese, herons, kingfishers, ducks, swallows. Take a fishing rod there’s loads of carp. Kids loved catching them. Loads to do in surrounding area. Lodge was beautiful and Host was really helpful. Lots of lovely goodies left for our arrival. Would definitely come again.

Absolutely stunning lodge. We booked for 3 nights as a last min getaway, but will definitely return & for a longer stay nxt time. So peaceful & relaxing. Lodge very clean & well kept, (the owner) although we didn't meet her, was on hand vis txt or phonecall if needed (we had no problems). Beautiful views, walks & scenery all around.

A clean, comfortable and well equipped lodge in a wonderful peaceful location. Good communication from the owner and a fantastic welcome pack on arrival. Hot tub was great and the lodge was a good base for visiting all the attractions of Anglesey. Highly recommend.
