Anglesey Lakeside Lodges

The Anglesey Lodge was stunning inside and out. It has everything you need so you can literally just turn up with your clothes and food. It was immaculate, the hot tub was heated and all ready to go and the view of the lake was beautiful from the living area and main bedroom with the huge windows. It was very spacious and the owners very kindly left a bottle of Prosecco and some biscuits, jam and honey which was a nice touch. The area is so quiet and peaceful it’s the perfect getaway to unwind. It wasn’t far from anywhere in Anglesey and each day we went out and explored a different town or beach. We definitely recommend this place!

Had an excellent stay at the Top Boathouse, Wendy was very helpful with an issue they had contacted us before we arrived and offered numerous alternatives to resolve it, even calling the following day to ensure we were happy. The lodge was spotless and facilities exceptionally. The location is great for exploring any part of the island, we will definitely be returning

Beautiful surroundings, very peaceful. The lodge was perfect for us as a family of 5 and one dog. All rooms were lovely, the lodge had everything you needed, the hot tub was a lovely addition with a perfect view to look out on. Close to pubs, shops, local attractions, but far enough removed to forget about the world for a while! Would recommend for anyone. The owners communicated well and ensured we had all the information we needed before arrival.

We have stayed at many Hoseasons lodges and this one is up there as one of the best.The reviews really don't do it justice, it's well kitted out, the owners have thought of everything, the kitchen is well stocked, there was even a slow cooker in one of the cupboards.it was so peaceful and the perfect escape from work life, having no mobile signal was a bonus, even though wifi was provided we didn't log into it once. The owner provided a great collection of DVD's which allowed us to revisit all of the Jason Borne movies, we thought one movie was missing and resolved to add it to the collection, as luck would have it we found Gladiator in the second hand book room at Plas Newydd and added it to the Bodafon lodge DVD library.We took a big tub of duck food with us and quickly attracted a pair of ducks who we named Martin and Tracey, they enjoyed the feed and met us at the door each time we left the lodge and the carp came right up to the side of the lodge for a feed as well, top tip take duck food with you.The nature was fab, on our first morning 2 two robins landed on the deck and watched us eating breakfast, we had geese come and go, kingfishers swoop across the lake, a heron and on the last day we finally saw a red squirrel in a tree next to the stream that runs by the side of the lodge.The hottub has a new cover on order, i had a relaxing soak in the tub but then spent 45 mins trying to wrestle it back into place, the nice hot tub cleaning lady told me the folloing day that a new cover was on order, top tip pul it to the front of the hot tub not the back.The bed was very comfortable and the linen was spotless, we had to strip the bed when we left and it was great to find really clean pillows and a new looking matress when we did.This lodge is so well looked after by the owners, thanks for the goodies when we arrived, it was a nice extra touch.With so much to do in North Wales we will return!

Everything was amazing.All we needed for a wonderful holiday to chill relax, or in summer BBQ, sit outside.Love the hot tub.grest master bedroom, fantastic views and location, well furnished and thought out. Lovely touches from the owners who were very helpful with directions. Cadnant lodge is fantastic and we want to stay again.

Absolutely amazing lodge to stay in with a lovely lake right on our front. The whole place was spotless, has everything you need there and a short drive to different locations. We went to Llandudno and beau maris and visited a few castles and we did a big shop on our first night at a Tesco 8 minutes away. The beds are really comfy and the lodge is just gorgeous, would definitely recommend. The hot tub is really easy to use and was lovely being in there in a morning and at night. Be aware that you get no signal/internet in the lodge which was fine for me as I wanted to shut off and enjoy the weekend. Will definitely be back.

Spent a long weekend here and the place was amazing! It was a lot more than we expected. Turned up to great views an amazing lodge with a great hot tub. Log burner everything we needed and the place was spotless we really didn’t want to leave. We had an amazing time and hopefully will be booking the same lodge again soon. Recommended this place to friends and family.

Really spacious and clean. By far the best lodge as have stayed in 2 other lodges in Lakeside Main TV remote may need new batteries? As was not always workingGreat WifiMaybe a note as to where the switch is for decking light is as hidden behind large lamp. Small remote for lights above hot tub could have a note on as we only found out what it did 2 days into holiday.

The Top Boathouse was just stunning! Gorgeous setting and the lodge was like a home from home. There was everything you’d need, absolutely everything had been thought of. The weather was dreadful the whole time we were there, so we didn’t have the opportunity to get out too much, but the lodge was so well equipped and spacious, we thoroughly enjoyed staying in and spending some quality family time.

Absolutely amazing, such a wonderful experience, I am 26 weeks pregnant and was so comfortable there, with my 2 year old twins, such a lovely view as well, came to celebrate my 30th birthday with my partner and my children and they supplied chocolates and even bought an orchid for me which being hormonal made me cry because it was so sweet, whilst there my partner proposed to me as well so Annog lodge will always have a special place in my heart now for me and my family.

Absolutely beautiful lodge, we really enjoyed our stay. Everything in the lodge was comfortable, clean and lovely. The view from both the lounge and main bedroom was fantastic, waking up in the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in to be able to watch the birds on the lake. Thank you for a fantastic stay.

This was my second stay at the lodge and I have already booked again for next year. The site itself is peacful and in a wonderful location where you can explore Anglesey from easily. The lodge is very well furnished and the beds are super comfortable. The owners are very approachable and helpful if you have any concerns.

Third visit to Bodafon, i think that says it all. A superb lodge in a lovely location.

Excellent really relaxing break. Peaceful and beautiful location. Plenty of walks both for us and our dog. This is the 4th time we have visited Anglesey Lakeside lodges and will definitely come again. Home from home.

We visited Cadnant Lodge as a family the first week of December. The lodge was beautiful and was all decorated for Christmas. The owners of the lodge kept in touch and were always available to message if we did need anything. The surroundings of the lodge were lovely especially on the frosty morning we had and the views were amazing. We especially enjoyed the hottub and seeing all the stars on the clear night's. Best lodge we've stayed in and would 100% recommend to anybody. We all would love to come back at some point. 10/10

Amazing lodge in beautiful Anglesey.Near great restaurants & pubs, coastal path walking.Very comfortable, lovely hot tub, well equipped, I can’t fault this lodge in any way.

Only issue if you had a emergency No phone signal, no body on site to report to

This is the second time we have stayed and not the last by any means! It is our little home from home and we adore Anglesey and everything the lodges have to offer. Brenda is fab and always on hand. Thanks again!!

Had a lovely week staying in angelsey lodge. The lodge is lovely and spacious and the setting is amazing. Despite the weather being wet we enjoyed several days out and would particularly recommend beaumaris castle and redboat ice cream parlour, greenwoods forest adventure and pili palas. Our favourite beach was benllech. At the lodge we enjoyed the hot tub and feeding the ducks. The only negatives about the lodge were the very creaky staircase and the cooker/hob and pans being not very good which makes cooking rather difficult.

This lodge is in a fantastic location but falls short of autograph lodges luxury we expected - the lodge is ready for a refurb and was probably at standard 5 years ago. We can see the owners have been trying to improve/update the lodge but it still needs urgent attention. Attention to detail lacking - couldn’t use the dishwasher as no rinse aid or salt in it or available. Dirty cushions with food on them and dirty blinds. Sofas old and worn out - however wow what a lovely view and surroundings, hot tub fabulous too. Autograph lodges are usually top luxury we have stayed in many - no little touches ie little toiletries etc. wouldn’t stay in this lodge again unless updated to reflect the price charged for autograph lodges

Lakeside retreat is amazing! We had the most relaxing time there. Sitting in the hot tub over looking the lake was so calming and a perfect way to start or end the day. It is really well equipped if you plan on cooking, have never stayed anywhere that provides so much. Security deposit was returned the day after leaving which was good. Owners called in advance of holiday and sent a really useful email with lots of info. Would highly recommend a stay here and hope to book again soon.

Had a lovely holiday exploring Anglesey and it’s beautiful beaches and attractions. The lodge was a perfect base to explore from. Very homely and comfortable with a hot tub and plenty of grassy space for the kids to play in.

We stayed in Annog lodge. So quiet and peaceful. Saw geese, herons, kingfishers, ducks, swallows. Take a fishing rod there’s loads of carp. Kids loved catching them. Loads to do in surrounding area. Lodge was beautiful and Host was really helpful. Lots of lovely goodies left for our arrival. Would definitely come again.

Stunning Lodge and wonderful location. We really enjoyed our stay. Very peaceful and within easy driving distance from Beaumaris and other attractions.

Absolutely stunning lodge. We booked for 3 nights as a last min getaway, but will definitely return & for a longer stay nxt time. So peaceful & relaxing. Lodge very clean & well kept, (the owner) although we didn't meet her, was on hand vis txt or phonecall if needed (we had no problems). Beautiful views, walks & scenery all around.

A clean, comfortable and well equipped lodge in a wonderful peaceful location. Good communication from the owner and a fantastic welcome pack on arrival. Hot tub was great and the lodge was a good base for visiting all the attractions of Anglesey. Highly recommend.
