We loved the peaceful vibe and beautiful surroundings, perfect for nature fans. The lodge was comfy, just a bit worn in spots, but overall really nice and close to everything we needed. Definitely recommend for a relaxing break!

We stayed at Bodafon Lodge for the first time and honestly, we’re already planning to come back! The spot right by the lake is just stunning. It’s so cosy and well-equipped - honestly, it felt like a home away from home. Perfect for us and our dog, Dora. We loved it!

We absolutely loved the location and the stunning scenery, it really is a lovely spot. The bed was super comfy and the welcome hamper was a nice touch. However, we couldn’t ignore the dust everywhere - it felt more like a quick tidy-up than a proper clean. When we moved the TV, there was a thick layer of dust behind it, which wasn’t great, especially with a little one sleeping nearby. There were cobwebs and dust on the ceilings and ledges too. We noticed brown stains on both towels and some on the bedding, which was a bit off-putting. The bathroom bin hadn’t been emptied and all the rugs had stains - probably because it’s dog-friendly, but still, not ideal when trying to keep things hygienic. We also had a few ants crawl onto us on the sofa. The hot tub’s filter was overdue by 14 days, so that could do with some attention. Such a beautiful place, but it really needs a proper deep clean to match the setting.

Our first time at Menai Lodge, but we’ve stayed at Lakeside Lodges a few times now. Honestly, the place is spot on - super clean, warm and the views from the lounge are just breathtaking, especially looking out over the lake and countryside. We made good use of the hot tub every day; it’s perfectly tucked away at the back for privacy and watching the sunset from there was a proper treat. Olwen was really friendly and helpful too. We’re already planning to come back!

The lodge was super comfortable and well equipped, making it perfect for a chill-out. The scenery around was absolutely stunning too. No complaints at all!

We stayed at this lodge recently and honestly, it’s pretty impressive. The place is spacious with two floors and having three bathrooms is a real perk-two ensuite upstairs and another downstairs with a shower. The kitchen’s super well-stocked and the big fridge and freezer came in handy. The living room has a massive 55-inch TV, two comfy leather sofas and side tables, making it perfect for relaxing. The dining table fits four easily and there’s a porch with loads of space for our gear. The covered terrace overlooking the lake and the hot tub are just lovely. The place is very private, spotless and comfy with plenty of parking. We’d definitely recommend it!

At first, the holiday info did seem a bit overwhelming and we thought some of it could’ve been on the booking site to help ease the stress. But once we arrived, wow! The entire site felt so peaceful, quiet and spotless. Finding our lodge was a breeze and check-in was hassle-free, even for one person. As soon as we stepped inside, we loved it-cleanliness was top-notch and it had everything we needed plus some nice little extras. The bottle of fizz and the table set-up with tea, coffee and cleaning supplies were thoughtful touches. There were plenty of towels, blankets and toiletries, including toilet roll, so no worries there. The hot tub was pristine and perfect for unwinding after chilly evenings. The patio was serene and we loved spotting the kingfisher every morning. The location isn’t far from the town, with loads of places to eat if you don’t fancy cooking (which, by the way, had plenty of utensils). We did go out a bit, but mostly we just chilled in the lodge - honestly, we didn’t want to leave! We’re already planning to come back. Thanks for a lovely stay, it really was just what we needed!

Anglesey Lodge really is a good place! The location is perfect for a peaceful escape, with stunning lake views that never get old. The hot tub’s a real treat after a long day - perfect for unwinding and gazing at the stars. We’ll definitely be back!

Would’ve liked more comfy sofas and a smart TV downstairs, really missing that!

This lodge is truly something special. We've stayed at other lakeside places, but Annog really stands out!

We had such a lovely stay! The lodge was really well equipped and the hot tub was a lovely bonus. The only bit that was a bit frustrating was how slow the heating was to warm up, but the log burner definitely made a difference. We also saw our first ever Red Squirrel and a stunning Kingfisher most days. Communication was spot on and super helpful. Can’t wait to return in the summer!

The outdoor hot tub on the decking is such a lovely touch and perfect for relaxing in privacy. The location is just spot on - peaceful but close enough to shops and everything else. Snowdon’s only about half an hour away too. We stayed a week and honestly, it wasn’t long enough-I didn’t want to leave! The hosts were super friendly and helpful as well.

We honestly loved our stay here! The location is just stunning, so peaceful and tucked away in nature. The hot tub was a real treat after a day exploring and everything was just so relaxing. The Four Crosses pub is nearby, less than ten minutes drive and the food there was lovely. It’s not far from shops either, so very handy. We’ll definitely be returning to this good place - it’s pure tranquility and we couldn’t ask for more!

We really appreciated how the owners tailored their cleaning to help our asthmatic daughter. The only downside was the mattress on the double bed-felt a bit too firm for us, but overall, a good stay!

We stayed in Annog lodge. So quiet and peaceful. Saw geese, herons, kingfishers, ducks, swallows. Take a fishing rod there’s loads of carp. Kids loved catching them. Loads to do in surrounding area. Lodge was beautiful and Host was really helpful. Lots of lovely goodies left for our arrival. Would definitely come again.

Absolutely stunning lodge. We booked for 3 nights as a last min getaway, but will definitely return & for a longer stay nxt time. So peaceful & relaxing. Lodge very clean & well kept, (the owner) although we didn't meet her, was on hand vis txt or phonecall if needed (we had no problems). Beautiful views, walks & scenery all around.

A clean, comfortable and well equipped lodge in a wonderful peaceful location. Good communication from the owner and a fantastic welcome pack on arrival. Hot tub was great and the lodge was a good base for visiting all the attractions of Anglesey. Highly recommend.
