It's been a few years since we last went on a caravan holiday and our expectations were based on that baseline. Wow how things have changed in the last ten years. This site and facilities are as good as any I have ever experianced. 10 out of 10 for every element of the service and the weather was good too !

just been to stay at this park for a week, we had our 8 year old son with us and he loved it..The park is beautiful and well maintained in all area's.There are all sorts of activites for the kids and the entertainment at night is brilliant,the beach is a short stroll down the road or 5 mins in the car and parking there is free.. Our caravan was very impressive everything you need is just at hand and if you have a problem the staff are very helpful.The pool area sauna,jacuzzi and steam room are a must!! needless to say we have booked to go back to this site and i may just treat myself to one of there lodge's with a hot tub....

Really love this place, the lodge is fantastic and we can’t wait to return soon.

The hottub was fantastic, but a few things needed fixing.

We loved how roomy the caravan was, with a great layout. The large fridge freezer and microwave were handy and the flat-screen TV was a bonus. Very impressed!

Honestly, the lodge has so much potential but was really let down by the state of the park. It was quite grubby and felt run down, which was a bit of a shame. The location isn’t great either - right by the front gates on the owner’s side, so we were woken up at 5am most mornings by cars blasting music as they headed off to work. The worst part was the dishwasher, which was broken for most of our stay. We were told it’d be fixed that day, but it kept getting pushed back for four days until we had to contact Hoseasons ourselves. I read some reviews and apparently it’s been broken since June! We visited in November and honestly, the kitchen was pretty sparse - only a flat tray and one ladle. Reception kindly brought over a casserole dish, but we ended up having to buy baking trays and utensils just to get by. Definitely not what we expected for the price!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The place was spotless and the hot tub was a lovely touch. Plenty of space inside the caravan and the nearby beach is perfect. Only a couple of issues-fire in the front room wasn’t working and no signal on the spare room TV. Still, we’ll be back!

Honestly, the chairs were pretty wrecked and really need replacing before anyone else stays. The caravan was also dirty and poorly cleaned. We only got 2 knives and small glasses, plus no oven glove-really disappointing!

Overall, our stay was decent. They fixed some small maintenance issues I flagged, which was good. Having two dogs, I really appreciated a vacuum or long brush to tidy up, but all we had was a dustpan and brush. Also, my dog found a sock under the bed, so it’s clear the beds don’t get moved often. Nothing major, but worth noting!

Overall, we had a good stay. The caravan was lovely, though the floors could’ve been cleaner. Door handles need some fixing, but otherwise, a great experience!

The caravans felt quite outdated and we noticed some stains on carpets and sofas.

Honestly, the caravan was okay but really could’ve been better looked after. Door handles were wobbly and the kitchen drawer was hanging off - not ideal. It wasn’t very clean either; dust and wrappers in the corners were pretty off-putting. There was also a strong wet dog smell, so it’s clear dogs have been there before. The kids’ mattress was terrible - super springy and hurt my daughter’s back. Quite disappointing overall.

Honestly, the furniture looked quite worn and stained, curtains were way too thin and dust was everywhere-especially around the beds. The carpets in the living area were dirty and not vacuumed at all. Microwave was rusty too, which was pretty disappointing.

We had an awesome time in this caravan! The space was really generous and the hot tub was just fantastic. Everything was spotless, which made it feel really comfortable. Loved the little extras like the dishwasher, washing machine and all the towels - such a thoughtful touch. The beds were super comfy; my kids slept better than ever. Absolutely loved it!

The kitchen had everything we needed. The pool and entertainment options were great and being so close to the beach was perfect. Definitely coming back!

We had a lovely stay at the Oakwood Lodge. The place was spotless and the beds were super comfy, making it perfect for relaxing. The enclosed garden was a bonus for our dog and we really enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings. The staff were friendly and quick to help with heating questions. Great experience!

We had a pretty decent stay overall. The caravan was clean and tidy, which was great, but a few essentials were missing and we couldn’t figure out the oven. Luckily, there was parking right beside the caravan for unloading, which was a real plus. Would stay again!

When we arrived at the caravan, it looked decent enough, all clean and tidy, which you’d expect from one of their pricier models. But that’s where the good stuff ended, unfortunately. On the first evening, while cooking, the extractor fan stopped working properly and the smoke alarm just wouldn’t shut up - it kept blaring until we finished, which was pretty annoying. We also quickly realised the kitchen was pretty poorly stocked: only a handful of utensils, no egg flip, a broken tin opener, just a few glasses, one oven tray and no grill pan. We reported this first thing the next morning when reception was open, but nothing much was done about it during our stay. Things got worse overnight - one of the single beds in the room where my 17-year-old son was sleeping actually broke, thankfully without injury, but it was a bit worrying. When we were unpacking, we also noticed a drawer was broken. Using the dishwasher was a no-go as well; it simply wasn’t working. Other issues included a faulty toilet seat, a broken shower hose, a damaged dining chair and no towel rail in the master bedroom’s ensuite. The hot tub was supposed to be serviced every other day, but that didn’t happen at all during our stay. On the second day, two maintenance guys came by to fix some of the problems we’d flagged the day before - they managed to sort out the broken bed, toilet seat and shower hose and replaced the smoke alarm. Unfortunately, they couldn’t repair the extractor fan or the dishwasher because parts weren’t available, so we were left without those for the entire holiday. They did eventually replace the grill pan after we explained it wasn’t supplied by the oven’s manufacturer. Most of the facilities were shut on Tuesday - only the swimming pool was open. The pool was way too shallow for adults to swim safely and the jacuzzi was out of order. The games room was quite a disappointment too; many machines were broken and the pool table shown on the website was nowhere to be found, which was a real letdown for the family. The area around the caravan was also pretty grim - littered with cigarette buts, paper and even an old poppy, which looked like it had been there a while. We also noticed the site was near a colony of seagulls that made noise all day and early mornings and they even attacked some residents. After paying extra for a ferry and choosing one of the most expensive caravans, we expected a certain standard. Sadly, the reality was quite different. The site and the accommodation looked tired and neglected - nowhere near the five-star vibe we’d been led to believe. Most of our holiday was marred by frustration and annoyance. We wouldn’t recommend staying here and we’d appreciate it if you could pass our review along to Hoseasons. Honestly, it was just not what we expected or paid for!

We really enjoyed our stay! The lodge was spotless and spacious, with a lovely fenced garden for privacy. The hot tub was a real treat. Only downside was the neighbour's dogs barking, but luckily our lodge wasn’t right next door to them. Overall, great experience!

We really enjoyed our stay in this caravan. It’s spacious and in great condition, perfect for us and our dog. The only downsides were the Wi-Fi, which was pretty rubbish and a missing oven glove in the kitchen. Still, we’d come back!

My family love it here, beautiful park, beautiful location, beautiful beach. Very close by to surrounding places. The food and drink is quite over priced but all in all we had a fantastic time and will continue to stay here.
